I was a customer of YouTeam's for almost a year while I was a VP of Engineering in the AgTech space. Together we brought on fourteen team members. All positions were filled quickly and with excellent candidates. Each position had multiple candidates to choose from. I left that position, YouTeam is still there.

I love the YouTeam platform itself. Their software allows you to review a very informative bio of the candidates along with samples of their previous work - in my opinion, this is a much better model than the old fashioned resume/cv. Their systems also allows you to share a bio with a colleague without sharing financials associated with the bio - nice feature! Their solution also handles all the contracts and payments through one portal which is super convenient and transparent.

But, it's the people that really matter. Everyone I have interacted with at YouTeam has been professional, responsive, and friendly. It's the people that can make or break any business, and they've got the right team for continued success.

Simply put, YouTeam makes sourcing talent easy!

The perfect partner to cover short-term dev recruiting needs!

Youteam has been an excellent partner to help me build a team of 6 developers within only 2-3 months. Their clearly differentiate from individual agencies, as well as other 'platforms /marketplaces' in terms of a) the speed with which they deliver profiles (24h), b) the number of profiles they deliver (up to 10 in each batch), the quality and professionalism with which they handle requests (super professional and a can do mentality).

Something to be mindful of (not really a downside of Youteam): One has to screen for the right agencies to get through Youteam. One can quickly end up with many devs all from different agencies, which adds a lot of admin overhead.

I'll never ever recommend this awful service to my colleagues and partners.

All of this is just wasting of time of our Sales and Delivery team (we were giving the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc chance to this organization during half a year!)

Always No response (if it's not connected with claims)
YouTeam said the client would get back to us this Friday - never happened.
We mean does it really take that long to talk to the team and decide if they want to hire the developer or not?
Especially considering that the RFP says "asap".

We've lost track of how many emails we've received from YouTeam, saying that "the client went silent, canceled the project or hired somebody else".
It basically means that YouTeam lost the client.

Or how many times after great interviews of our developers the leads just went silent, giving NO feedback.

It makes us wonder if YouTeam does its job at all.
Our developers spend time on the interviews, prepare for them. Sales team spends time on applying to RFPs. And nothing.

To be honest, it's all very weird. If during the interviews YouTeam's advisors can't even give any specifics about the potential projects.
It all seems like YouTeam doesn't really have those leads. Like you just find them somewhere, e.g. Upwork, and use our (other agencies') developers to apply to those posts.
The RFPs descriptions YouTeam provides really do look like extracts from Upwork posts.

And (not pointing fingers and not saying any names just yet), one of our developers, who just started working at our company and JUST received his corporate email, started receiving emails from various HRs, couple of days after his pre-interview with YouTeam. We're now trying to find out how they found his email. If it turns out that somebody leaked his email without the company's or his consent, legal actions will be taken.
