This was a very memorable ride.

The colors of the area were so vibrant, even for late September. Yes, we were very lucky to have a sunny day in this season and it didn't disappoint.

So many waterfalls, so much green foliage. It was nice enough to hang out on the ends of the cars to take pictures, and boy did I.

I've always loved trains, and the ride was fun, but it was the breathtaking views that won me over on this.
I'm from Colorado and we also have wonderful mountains, but they don't have this much color and growth.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! 3 hrs of the best train ride you'll ever have with all the history the tour guides tell you! Highly recommend!! Did this through our cruise package and worthy every penny! When they tell you when you can go on the back decks, no matter how cold you are just do it! It's the best experience!!

This was so much fun. I was very pleasantly surprised. I've been on old scenic railroads before but this was different. The route was a very long one. Plenty of scenery and tunnels. They let us stand outside on the breezeway between the cars. It was freezing but worth it. I would definitely do this again.

We did this as part of a Royal Caribbean Excursion, and it was a main highlight of our Alaskan cruise. We had perfect weather, and the scenery was absolutely spectacular. The volunteer we had on the train was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions. It was really nice that we could go outside the carriages. The people on our carriage were happy to rotate often, so everybody got a chance to to step outside that wanted to. An absolute must do.

We were lucky to take the train ride to White Pass on a beautiful, clear sunny day in the mid-70s. The views were gorgeous, and the tour guides were friendly and engaging. While we couldn't move between rail cars, we were allowed to stand outside the car on the platform while it was moving to get some great photos and videos. A unique experience not to miss!

Great trip worth doing as there is not much in town to fill a day. We were so lucky with the weather and the fall colours were coming through. The bus driver James from Utah there for the season
was excellent with great commentary and the train ride back gave great views.

Easy trip right from the boat dock, immediately as you get off. It was nice not to have to take a bus somewhere to get on to the train.

The ride was pretty smooth although noisy, and there were a few issues with the speaker in our car, so we couldn't hear everything that the tour guide was saying.

They were finally able to get the speaker working correctly and the volume turned up, and the narration was excellent throughout the trip.

This was the only excursion we took here, but I think we made the right choice. If I ever came here with anyone else, I would definitely do it again.

Stunning views from this historic train tour! The tour guides were knowledgeable about the railroad's history and even the trail predating the railroad to support the gold rush. Be sure to take plenty of pictures of vistas, waterfalls, bridges, wildlife, and scenic landscapes. The best location for photos is between cars.
