I really enjoy working at VAI. The company has good leadership and several long-term employees and managers. I prefer working for a small family-owned company rather than a large company. I am always given the opportunity to come up with new ideas and different ways of doing things. Pay is good and overtime hours are also paid which is nice. I work remotely but have worked from the NY and Orlando offices. Both are very nice work environments with nice and helpful people.

Pros: Great place to work. Stable, growing, family owned ERP development company. Many employees work there for decades.
Challenging projects, endless possibilities for self development and growth, ability to work remotely, competitive hourly pay, options to work overtime, knowledgeable staff, caring management team and HR, weekly pay with decent benefits.

Cons: Entering timesheets.
What would be nice - 401k match, I personally miss office buildings area with more options for coffee and lunch.

Overall, great company to work for with great people.

VAI provides outstanding ERP software to their clients in manufacturing, food industry/supply chain and pharmaceuticals. VAI works through multiple teams to ensure each ERP module is optimized for their clients. Whether a system application needs to work in HQ, on the warehousing floor, with shippers and banks, the VAI ERP software delivers exceedingly well. I highly recommend their products and services.

This company created the new platform for Marshal Distributing Dealer access. So far it is a complete piece of garbage. Login process takes 5-10 minutes, often failing due to scripting errors or long running scripts. Once finally logged in, the cart is nearly impossible to function. More Scripting errors occur at this point, including sometimes being kicked off and having to start the login process again. Adding to the cart is a total pain, First you have to check the inventory which involves putting it in the check availability feature. This takes about 5 minutes to check with the various warehouses for availability.. no quantities available, just a yes or no. Finally after adding to the cart, to add another item youhave to go back and repeat the whole process. Final analysis of their product for Marshal Distributing (in my opinion) TERRIBLE! Dont release software until its fully tested!
