I just toured Victoria Village and it really is a beautiful community 😍.

It has a unique atmosphere as well. I was able to tour 3 apartments and all of them were uniquely different from the other. Clawfoot tubs, beautiful hard wood floors, and updated appliances are just a few things and impressed me at Victorian Village.

Not to mention it is SO CLOSE to the square!

The location to the square is great. Get management to actually fix things is poor. They will continually raise your rent without fixing your maintenance requests. I have for the last two months requested that they get a professional HVAC tech to service my air unit and that has consistently been ignored. Maintenance turned my fan off by the chain that I cannot reach and have requested that be fixed which also has gone ignored. I have rotting baseboards and my toilet was supposed to be fix when I first moved in and it never was. I suggest rent else where that will have better management who actually cares to fix issues instead of just taking your money.

the number listed for the apartments never pick up the phone, i finally contacted a PM named jason to ask about applying since the links didnt seem to work and all the website had was one generic photo of a sink.

the website said 1,800 rent utilities included available may 15. then on the phone jason double backed around and said no no the price now is 2,000 utilities not included anymore and available june 1st.

i tried giving him the benefit of a doubt and he said he would discuss it with the property owner and call me back, but he never did and now neither contact numbers will take my calls they answer and hang up. mind you i wasnt rude about it, im just trying to find somewhere to live.

i still want to give them benefit of a doubt but that was very sleazy they went as far as to go on the website and take the listing i saw down and change it.

Recently, I toured Victorian Village apartments. My boyfriend and I wanted to move somewhere close to the square, that was reasonably priced, and had character (a tall order I know). We were very impressed with the character of the units and how cozy, and quiet the property was. We toured a studio, a 1br/1ba, and a 2br/2ba. The 1 bedroom and studio were gorgeous but on the smaller side, which given the price is to be expected. I would recommend buying furniture before moving in that works with the space vs. hoping that your current furniture will adapt to the space. Just as a heads up, each space is unique and some offer nontraditional layouts. Therefore, you might have to be creative when looking for a place for your living room. We didn't mind that though, my boyfriend and I are very creative and rather prefer a nontraditional layout. On the other hand, some units have kept the clawfoot tubs which is gorgeous but for those who prefer showers the tubs only have a "hose" as your shower head so make sure to ask for units that have a stand up shower. Other units have a full shower or full shower and clawfoot tub combo.

Honestly though, I don't think I would be nearly as excited about this property if it was not for Stephanie and Savor. Stephanie answered every time I called her and was prompt with email responses. Once we arrived at the property, we were formally introduced to both Stephanie and Savor. They were on time and conscientious about all of our needs/concerns. I recently went through hell with another property management company and have some trust issues so those are very telling signs that the property management team will be available if needed (which is very important to us). They even took into consideration the fact that I recently adopted a senior dog and needed some extra space so they allowed us to view the 2br/2ba, even though it wasn't quite finished yet, just so we could get a feel of what bigger units felt like. Once I walked into that unit I was sold! The renovated units offer upgraded appliances plus the character that we love. Huge thank you to Stephanie and Savor for making us feel welcome and secure. It's because of them that I feel confident about my decision to move in.

There are two key selling points to living at Victorian Village: price and location. You won’t be able to beat the rent within a five-minute walk to the Marietta Square and a five-minute drive to Kennesaw State University Marietta Campus. Luckily, they are pet friendly with a park right down the street. Overall, the complex is quite peaceful, and has an interesting historic background.

Being a historic building does have some disadvantages, however. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbor has to say (they can hear you too). With wood floors above, it can sound like a marching band is making its way through the building at times. Most of the neighbors are courteous enough to respect their noise level, but I have had to get management involved before.

The office is at another location about ten-minutes away, which can be inconvenient when moving in. However, once you get settled in, it’s not a big deal. Management is always very responsive and helpful. Maintenance can be slow, but again, they are coming from another location across town. I haven’t had any issues with bugs, besides the occasional spider here and there.

I’ve seen a sneak peek at some of the renovations taking place, and from what I can tell, they are very nice and bring the old place back to life again.

The only way to really experience Victorian Village is to visit and enjoy the good vibes it presents. It’s so quiet and peaceful in such a loud and busy town.

Love love Victorian Village. If you’re a sucker for Victorian homes, this is for you. Friendly staff for sure and the perfect walking distance from downtown Marietta. I love walking, grabbing a drink, and listening to live music on the square. Definitely a good little community: close to a park, and it’s in a great little neighborhood if you want to go on a stroll. Pet friendly!
