I had my first mentoring session with VR Small today and when I tell you, I am so excited and encouraged about growing my business and taking things to the next level. After that conversation, she reaffirmed for me that I am playing small and I should be thinking bigger because there is so opportunity out there and I need to take full advantage of it so I can create the business that I ultimately desire. I am very encouraged to expand my business and see what happens next.

All I can say is WOW!!!! I started building my business with the SBA Veteran "Boots TO Business" business plan and struggled with utilizing their business plan and concept of successful business. My first meeting with Ms. VR Smalls made me realize the MISSING piece of executing my business plan was there wasn't a GROWTH STRATEGY in my market research section. I feel confident being a part of her mentorship that THIS time around my business will be FLOURISHING with success because of the right tools in the right environment.

I'm so grateful for the VWEC. They offer a variety of business guidance, coaching and mentoring programs for female veteran entrepreneurs and small businesses. I completed one of their programs, the Financial First weekend series, over a couple of Saturdays. Such a valuable experience! I came away with a deep-dive into our business financial statements, new learnings, and lots of feedback to help us scale our business profitably. Very happy to be welcomed into this wonderful community and business network!

I just had my first mentor session and I am now even more excited about starting my own business. There are so many tools available that I had no idea even existed. My mentor’s excitement was so contagious. I could tell she loves what she does. She was clear with helping me develop a plan to get started and guidance with next steps.
Thank you!

My first mentor session was extremely helpful. Book an hour information/mentor session if you have the time. I was very impressed with how organized and tailored the experience was. I received clear actionable tasks that made sense for my business. I am looking forward to my monthly check-ins as I build my business!

I had a Zoom call with Ms. Small to get more information about the Center. Just from a simple interest call I left feeling heard and empowered. I will certainly be taking advantage of the offerings and services of the Veteran Women's Enterprise Center and without question signing up for mentoring sessions with Ms. Small.

Had my first session and consult today. It is crazy how much a 30 min mentorship session can yield so much value. I was lacking direction, and needed help with strategy. I learned today that the goal should always be intentional and that not every customer is my target customer. Im so excited for 2023 and everything the center will be implementing to really make a change in the female veteran entrepreneur space.

Ms. Small is a beautiful and wonderful person. She provided a virtual tour of the Center. The Veteran Women's Enterprise Center is absolutely amazing. VR gave me information in which I could research to assist me in determining my goals and objectives for the company I'm working to create. She is a great mentor. I thank you VR for giving Veterans like me the opportunity to continue to serve those who have served this country.
