UT Southwestern Medical Center is the best hospital I have ever had to be at and i have had to be at five others in my lifetime. From the ER department to the 3 day stay, it was a very welcoming and hospitable place. It is said that if you are in a good environment it will help you get better. Well this place definitely excelled. Doctor Schneider and her team are great.The docters from Internal medicine helped to resolve medical problems. All the nurses and the techs were outstanding and because it was my last day I can remember it more clearly that Kamilah and Tamar are very efficient and have a great bed side manner. If you ever have to go to a hospital and have a choice I recommend this hospital. Great communication, very efficient and a very personable staff.

Beauty For Ashes

Every time I make an appointment with the doctor, they switch me to the nurse practitioner. I have no problem with NPs, just not when I specifically asked to see the neurosurgeon Dr. Barrett. I didn't even want to go back there any way. My loved ones are the main reason I was going to follow up. I feel that he is dismissive and I'm switching facilities all together.

I did not have the pleasant experience everybody else is raving about. I was consistently ignored and never heard back from the department of research when I contacted them. What’s the point in providing different ways to get in touch with y’all when you don’t even respond yourself!
