BUYERS BEWARE: The eCourts system created by Tyler Technologies and implemented in North Carolina is an absolute disaster. It is costing private attorneys a lot of time and money.The system is neither intuitive nor user-friendly as it actually increases the amount of time and costs associated with completing previously simple tasks. It is not possible that the system they created for NC eCourts took into account input from potential users based on the number of complaints voiced from lawyers, judges, and Clerks of Court.
