TestCrackers GMAT and GRE Prep - Chicago, Illinois

I've just wrapped up my course (still have two make ups to do, but I know enough to provide feedback now) with Yuri, Seth, and Andrew--I found them rather late in my prep so had to do Quant, VR, and DI all at once. Plan better than me and find them earlier because this was a large part of my life for the past four weeks as a result. Hopefully this review will help you do that.

I've got a thing or two more to say:

1. If you want a dry, humorless experience in your GMAT/GRE prep, TestCrackers is DEFINITELY NOT for you.

2. If you want to memorize a bunch of formulas and just do a lot of unnecessary algebra and run out your time clock on the exam, TestCrackers is 100% NOT for you.

3. If you are, however, a somewhat normal human being who has a sense of humor and wants to understand WHY and HOW to do things on these overwhelmingly important exams, TestCrackers IS 100% DEFINITELY the place for you.

I am 20+ years away from formal education and am going to B school to leave my career field as I currently occupy it, so to say my algebra skills were rusty is a kind understatement. Never once was I made to feel badly about not knowing something. In fact, when I wasn't getting a concept, ALL of my instructors were unfailingly kind and patient in helping me understand the concept, even if they had to explain it in more than one way for it to click. Overall, this is a very talented group of instructors that TRULY care about each and every one of their students and it was time and money well worth spending for me to feel far more confident going into my GMAT than I felt a month ago. There are lessons, then small group "office hours" sessions to ask questions you may have over material, as well as specified homework to solidify concepts which are from the OG, not some random shyte they made up that may or may not reflect how it would appear on the official GMAT. I wish I would have found them 3 months ago, but que sera, sera.

Although you may think I'm a masochist, I enjoyed every bit of this course and the learning from it. Thanks guys!

TestCrackers greatly helped me improve my GRE score. It was a safe space for me to ask questions and brush up on my mathematics. No question was too “obvious” or “dumb.” Seth and Yuri want to see you succeed. I highly recommend!

Signing up for tutoring sessions through TestCrackers was totally worth the investment! I was studying on my own / through other self-study services, and while I was excelling through their mock question sets and tests, I was falling short on the official practice materials from the GMAC. A key difference that I really appreciated with this approach is Seth helping me understand my own weaknesses / pressuring me to get to the root of them, and then showing me ways to grow and work around it; I also learned how to actually take this test from him, as ,the GMAT is more than just learning content. That latter aspect was personalized to how I study/have approached exams, so I appreciated that personalization and its ability to make me feel confident in my testing and my score. Shout out to Seth - he's great!!

I had taken TestCrackers GMAT Prep course and it helped out tremendously! I was studying on my own for months yet did not achieve the score I wanted when I first took the exam. I then took the prep course and found the material to be extremely helpful. There are tips and tricks that I never would've thought of on my own. I also made some friends from the class which was great for networking.

I would highly recommend the online courses as well. The instructors are so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!

If you're studying for the GMAT specifically, this is the prep course you want to take in order to get the score you want.

Isaac and the TestCrackers team are the best! I tried self study and online only programs from other vendors with disappointing results. Isaac's approach to refreshing quant concepts, providing consistent study tips, and reinforcing with positive feedback throughout was definitely a key factor in my score going up by 80 points over two months! Would highly recommend them to anyone taking the GMAT - it's worth the investment.

The TestCrackers team and Seth are a real game-changer. I really enjoyed the learning experience, and their teaching methodology is on point. We all know how intimidating it can be to study and prepare for the GMAT test. I am not a native English speaker, and I am not a big fan of Math. Growing up, I did not learn Mathematics in English, so I thought I would not stand a chance to get a good score on the GMAT. Seth starts the course by erasing all these negative thoughts and baseless assumptions. He helps you build your confidence through interactive class activities. He simplifies the information in a way that is very easy to understand. On day one, you will start learning strategies that completely reshape the way you approach questions. He takes the time to address any questions or concerns during class and outside of class. He is accessible and always willing to discuss your challenges with the materials you are learning. You will also get access to office hours to talk about quant and verbal questions that may require additional explanations. Classes are small in size (five in my case), which helps you stay focused and engaged. It feels like you are getting private tutoring for the cost of a group class. This will undoubtedly be a worthwhile investment. Not only did I notice a substantial improvement in my GMAT score, but I did also enjoy learning and being in class.

I had endless conversations with GMAT instructors, including some of the industry's major players. I felt discouraged when I spoke with them, which made me doubt my ability to get into business school. Whether your goal is a 700+ score or not, do not let anybody discourage you and go with TestCrackers. Only after I have spoken with Yuri and Seth, I felt that getting a competitive score on the GMAT is possible despite all the challenges that "I thought" I had. I can keep going on and talk about other positive things I experienced as a student at TestCrackers, but I will leave some room for you to discover them on your own.
