My first time there…I had heard so much about this restaurant. I see why they have so many customers….they give a plate full of food. I didn’t enjoy it at all. The grits were not good…the liver mush was too thick…it was creamy inside. The eggs were too thick. The pancake was too hard. I will never go back there. The waiter was great! The hash browns were too greasy. So, I left 98% of my food on the table.

Small family owned business it is always packed. Every time I come the food is piping hot and fresh! It is so good definitely a small spot but the impact is huge. They have such a wide variety of food on their menu it's all so good

The food here is absolutely delicious! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. If you love southern home cooked meals, this is definitely a spot worth trying. No frills whatsoever just amazing food!

Hidden gem!!!!
This is a mom and pop family owned restaurant. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. It looks like an old house converted into a restaurant. There is a small parking lot at the back and side street parking.

We visited on a Saturday morning. It was rainy and cold. This place was packed to the max!

We were immediately greeted and our phone number taken so that they could notify us when our table was ready. We waited in the car for about 30 minutes. It was totally worth the wait.

It's not really good for larger groups, maybe 6 max can be seated together.

I had the whiting fish and grits, it came with a biscuit and egg of choice. When I tell you, mmm,mmm good is all I can say. Seasoned just write, grit consistency and flavor were on point. The biscuits were homemade, flaky and not to bready which was perfect. The coffee was good too.

I would definitely recommend and will be back to try other items on the menu.

Everything was delicious! I didn’t care for the hash browns, but everything was fresh and hot. When I walked in I noticed the floor was very slippery.

If I could leave zero stars I would and I wish I would have taken pictures! So we came here based on the parking lot being packed and the menu. However once I got inside and ordered my food that was an issue. My boyfriend wanted an omelette however just wanted the pork substituted for turkey. Well the waitress said the manager said that they couldn’t do that! Then he came to the table and said they couldn’t because they already have everything prepped. Which made no sense..Whatever just decided to order something else.So they sent someone else to the table this time the first waitress it was a language barrier I guess because they sent someone who spoke clearer English and she said that the other lady didn’t understand and just got confused. Anyways I order a pork chop and eggs and my son got the French toast and sausage. The pork chop was disgusting trended in grease and the skin peeling off. My son french toast looked like they added an extra layer of something to them. He didn’t like them as well. So the waitress noticed that I didn’t eat my food. She inquired how was it I said I don’t like it but it’s no big deal, I just didn’t eat it. She suggested she could get the manager. He comes over and ask me “why don’t I like my for”? I said it’s nasty and the presentation is not good greasy and all the skin falling off. He tells me I didn’t even taste it; and then said “If you don’t like it you just don’t like in a rude tone and walked off. Overall the experience was horrible and the professionalism of the manager is just very much lacking! Everyone experience is different but I would never come back and wouldn’t recommend! Yes the pork chop was taken off the bill! However you don’t treat customers this way, very unprofessional.

This little homey restuarant serves up some really good food! We've never had anything that tasted less than good & the customer service is always super sweet! My personal favorite is the fried flounder w/ cheese grits. My husband's go-to is the fried chicken wings & cheese grits/eggs, but since he tasted the flounder that's a fave of his now too! Portion sizes are great, you definitely get more than you pay for which is appreciated in this economy. Atmosphere is very quaint, reminds you of going to your grandma's house for Sunday dinner (not in a bad way at all). Yall go check them out!

Very great experience. Just was looking for a quick breakfast spot before I hit the road and this place came and gave me an unexpected great service and food was amazing. Will come back whenever I'm in town. Thanks 💙
