I generally do not take the time to write reviews for anything but in this case, I could not help myself and had to do it. I run a Fintech SAAS company called Trade Cheetah specializing in options trading (by all accounts no the most exiting topic for most people). I was looking to do something really different with our website and digital marketing approach. Our goal was to move away from the boring, mind numbing drivel that plagues the financial industry when it comes to art, design and truth be told pretty much everything else. After speaking and trying a variety of different ‘designers’ I was ready to give up in the possibility of the existence of original thought out there, specially amongst the so called ‘creatives’ until I made the fortuitous decision to work with Warren, his company Studio Misfits and his amazing team.

I was looking for something truly different for our web site, something that appealed to me as an artist and something that everyone could relate to ( numbers are not generally the most appealing subject matter). This seemed like a simple enough concept to me, but no one really understood what I was after until I met with Warren and his team. When I first spoke to him he seemed to understand, just like everyone else, so I went away expecting the usual disappointment followed by a meeting that would start by me saying “… It looks good….but…. its not quite what I meant, it is very similar to X and what I was trying to get away from….”. To my utter surprise that was not to be the case at all this time. When I got a call 6 days ahead of schedule, I reluctantly went to look at what Warren and his team produced and for the first time in over a year, in one single moment my faith in art and originality was restored! After one short meeting, in their first try and in half the time, they outdid studios and teams over three times their size and cost.

Their approach to design and style is unmatched. I now work in Fintech now but I have spent most of my life as a designer, painter and musician so my perception is well versed when it comes to art. Their work was and continues to be unrivaled. Their design style is the best out there, not only because the quality and incredible artistic aesthetics, but also because they listen! They care more about the client and their needs than their own ideas. They have the very rare ability to truly place their talent at the service of the client and their goals in a way that takes maximum advantage of their expertise as well as the client's. At Studio Misfits you will never feel like an outsider, and even if you are unable to draw a stick figure you will feel like you are part of the team, and that you really are an integral part of making your vision come to live vs. being an outsider with no say in the presence of ‘artists’ and their ever-mysterious process.

I started working with them on a website project and we are now continuing to work together with them in our efforts to grow our traffic online using SEO and smart digital marketing strategies. When someone is really gifted, they usually are talented in many areas and after discussing another one of our quandaries they created for us, in record time, the same efficient, unique and original approach to executing our SEO and Marketing campaigns.

If you have high standards and are looking for originality, creative genius, intelligence, efficiency and truly genuine and pleasant people to work with, Studio Misfits is the place for you. I almost gave up on all of the above, let alone the possibility of finding them in one place but I am happy to say that I do not see myself or my company working with anyone else, Warren and his team at Studio Misfits have it all. You never know where you will strike gold; For me it was the decision to work with this team; Maybe this review will do the same for you.
