Awful customer service and deceitful people.
I have a phone line with them, has never worked, when I call to get that fixed they say they will call me back, never do. Still doesn't work to this day and its been over 2 years.
When they installed our internet cable they ran it across our acreage, unannounced to us, so when we tried to put in a water line we accidentally dug it up, when they came back to fix it, they charged us $400 not including our regular monthly bill, we asked that they spread that out so we could pay it and they took it all at once making it so we couldn't pay other bills.
I have had numerous problems with the service of this company and when I call to get help they act sweet on the phone and then do nothing or worse. I will be happy to cancel them in the near future.

After delaying getting Fiber installed for almost 10 years, I finally decided to do it since my 'over the air' stuff was being phased out. The 'cable' was laid in a few hours (850+ feet) and the inside install was done the next week. It was a VERY complicated 3+ hour process. I had to get a "Tp-link High Gain Wireless Dual Band USB adapter" thing for my 14 year old laptop but it was 'plug and go' - then I discovered my printer would not connect to the network or my PC. A 2 hour call with HP tech support did not solve the problem. So, I call SC and the guy who did the installation came back out and after an hour we finally figured it out and got the printer working! GREAT customer service! Thank you very much to all the staff here in Kanab Utah!!!

We have had a terrible experience with these guys. When they came out last Monday the technician said they would have the internet hooked up by the weekend. It's now been a week and a half and when we called they stated it would be a minimum of two more weeks possibly a month. I would advise anyone to look at any other place except for these guys

Best internet provider experience we’ve had in 20 years. The installation was quick, easy, and with a very efficient and knowledgeable technician. We had zero connection issues this past year. They always answered their phone immediately and professionally when we called with questions. And now that we are leaving town, they offer a fast and easy return process for the router. We can’t recommend these folks enough!

Might be odd to hear this about an internet company but South Central is easily one of the most respectable companies in town. I have never once had my internet go down in the two plus years I’ve been with them. Or if it did and I never noticed, it must have been fixed quickly. I run a lot of devices off my service as well. From initial setup at a new residence to moving places in Kanab all of their technicians are incredibly efficient, detail oriented and all around great people who always show respect when they enter my house. Even when I’ve called for help making sure the setup was right they continue to show professionalism. On top off it all I received a letter in the mail unprompted saying the service bill would be lowered. I’ve never been with a company that is a Cooperative but I think this may be why the service has always been excellent. I find it hard to believe there are as many negative reviews with them but I’m guessing most of it comes from disgruntled customers trying to get out of their service agreement in some way or had one bad experience outside of Kanab somewhere. If so, they seem easy to work with or around issues if they do arise. Either way I give them the gold standard for integrity.

Ended our service had to move. The lady set up payment plans but went agains her words. We did a few payments then she demanded full payment after equipment was returned. Don’t recommend this service. Old lady needs to do something else because seems like all the 1 stars are because of her.Do better. ——reply-Equipment was returned on time. Getting called out when handling customer service poorly is part of the job you do. You made it seem like you understood our financial situation? But didn’t care at all? Train better

It's very bad (like pull your hair out and yell the f word bad), but it's the only option. The customer service group is friendly and appears helpful and engaged, but the actions they take never seem to improve the problems with our internet. I've had techs come out 3 times now and we're still having problems. I would also be very cautious with trusting all of these recent 5 star reviews within the last few months. I wouldn't put it past this company to pay friends/family members to go on and leave positive reviews to boost/skew their Google rating!
