I've had the pleasure of living Somerpoint apartments, and I must say, it's been an exceptional experience. The entire team, from management Vanessa great person and she speak Spanish and English, she is good on her job, has consistently demonstrated a passion for providing top-notch service and ensuring that residents feel at home. The apartment itself is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The amenities are fantastic, and the community is friendly and welcoming. What truly sets Somerpoint apart, however, is the staff's dedication to their residents. They're always willing to go the extra mile to address any concerns or issues, and they genuinely care about creating a positive living environment. I highly recommend Somerpoint apartment to anyone looking for a great place to call home. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give them ten stars if I could!

This apartment complex is actually despicable. From the management to the living space itself. An infestation of roaches, which doesn’t make sense because I’m being charged for pest control every month, leaky pipes and water spots on ceiling. The management doesn’t do anything to help you; they take very long to get back to you. They offer washing and drying at their office, which you still have to pay for. Also, if you have a pet expect to pay multiple times for a pet fee and pet screenings even after you’ve already paid/ moved out. Definitely not worth it especially for the price. literally a rip off.

Worst apartments I ever lived in roaches everywhere no matter how much you clean! There was a fight and some teens shooting outside last year. Oh there's mold. The air conditioning broke like everyday no one really fixes anything the price is ridiculous for the crap your getting 🙄 The washing machines don't work and when you tell the manager they ask you to call the number yourself this place is not worth it.

It’s roach infested . They over charge u for pest control and they never come spray . They charge u for upgraded appliances && nonthing is upgraded . They charge u 150 plus just for black appliances. The apartment need to be torn down && all appliances thrown out because the roaches are very bad , they in the walls , vents , under the carpet , behind the stove , refrigerator, dishwasher && bsthroom . They got so bad they was in the room , on the ceiling , in the bed , in the tv , on the furniture. If u move in , u will move right back out and be forced to throw all your things away so that u dont take the roaches with you . Also when u move in they paint over all the mildew in the bathroom so that it looks new , && also paint over all the roach spots from where roaches has shedded and stained the walls .

I truly wish I can post pictures here.. this apartment complex is a POS!! I've had so many problems here from day 1.. I move in with no door to my bathroom.. multiple water leaks in my closet as well as a huge Furnace leak.. took months to even put padding back in my carpet.. very bad Roach problem. Kitchen drawers off track. Dryer outlet keeps blowing breaker and sparking.. They are not on top of getting things fixed. But want us to be on top of paying rent... I now have brown liquid coming out between the cracks of the floor. ( could be poop.) Bad mold problems in all parts of the apartment. The up grade apartments as they call it. (Bathroom sink) I pay 300$ extra every month. Not even worth the sink... My refrigerator was not working the whole fist year. (Next morning) My closet floor is leaking right now!! 🙄 good thing they never put the padding back in.. but don't want to let me out my damn lease..

I been here since March and everything has been going wrong. No dishwasher. A hole was knocked in my laundry room 4 months ago and still not fixed. Today I called the emergency line cuz I have a leak coming from upstairs into my apt ment noone has contacted me. My shit is flooded. Smh I swear people don't care about the residents. It's all about the money

If u love gas leaks, piss poor maintenance support(he doesn’t live at complex) and roaches then this is your place. The gas company has been out multiple times to my unit and several others. They do not care at this complex. They charge $5 extra for an exterminator to come monthly but I was told they come when we request?!! But u shouldn’t charge monthly then? How u spray one unit when the whole complex is infested. They never ever never answer the phone. I definitely have to pull up. Properties are being ran by piss poor management. If u move here, which I wouldn’t recommend unless u just didn’t have anywhere else to go. They never did want the gas company has told them to do. A gas leak? And no empathy was given though I had proof the gas company found a leak. Several months of putting in a maintenance request to be told there was a leak is crazy. We the people need to go and report every last one of these apartments in Cobb Co. fair oaks area. Apartments been up for 30 years and no renovations other than fake hardwood. Why the floor in the living uneven? Why is the garbage disposal moving?!? I’m definitely taking these people to court for sure! A gas leak ain’t to be played with and to have the 0 cares given when ten is $1400 is crazy.

Edit: I was too generous with a two star rating. Like other recent reviews-- pray that your refrigerator or AC doesn't go out during the summer. It took them a week to check my fridge because all the AC units kept dying and they kept pushing my maintenance request down. There's not enough staff (leasing agents nor maintenance workers) to keep this place in pleasant condition. My advice? Run. If you can afford literally any other place to stay you'll be better off.

Original review: Lived here for about a year now and overall the communication has been pretty poor. There have been multiple occasions where the water in my building has been shut off/not working without any emails sent out to the residents to warn of the lack of water. The roach problem is terrible. Even requesting pest control to come spray has barely helped.

The cheap rent is nice, but not worth all the headaches that come with living here. Some people don't pick up after their dogs or leave trash/broken beer bottles along the sidewalks.

There doesn't seem to be enough staff to keep up with the property. As far as I can tell there's only one leasing agent and she's doing her best, but there definitely needs to be at least one more person since they don't have enough people in the office to have it open on the weekends.

There's also a dumb system glitch that automatically sends out emails saying you're past due on rent but when you open up the attachment it says balance due is $0. It's a great way to have heart palpitations thinking you're about to be evicted before you confirm that you did in fact pay rent on time like you always do.
