This review is for Andrew at the Smart & final here in La Quinta California this gentleman went above and beyond the call of duty of his job to give my wife his water bottle that he purchased so that she can have something to drink potassium was really low at the time and he helped us find and get the bananas that she needs for potassium he literally went and stopped doing his work to go and help her find the bananas and scan them and offered his trash can underneath his register to have her throw the trash away and as well very courteous the store was very very awesome he was not trying to rush yourself or anything and I believe this man deserves some type of award recognition or anything because all in all you guys need more toys like him thank you Andrew at the La Quinta California location

Extremely disappointed, was directed to unload my vehicle for returns, employee started returning everything, then manager stepped in and said they won't take returns on name brand items. We are within the guidelines of the return policy, nothing was opened or touched. Heading to BBB and corporate after this so they learn how to treat customers at this location.

Cashier at the register closest to the exit is a little bit condescending did not say thank you or greet me for what reason I don't know but she greeted the customer behind me go figure

The store staff need to be retrained. I carried two bags to the counter and paid for my items and it appeared I was given complimentary bags for my groceries. I did not ask for the bags, yet I was charged for them. This is fraudulent. You cannot charge for something without actually telling customer you are planning to do this. I was then told I could come back to the store for the 20 cents in bag fees. This is a complete waste of my time and an improper solution to my problem. I am 14 miles round trip from the La Quinta store.

They're open for long hours. Prices are right. The produce is not as fresh as it could be and some of the stock items are close to expiration. But this store is a good alternative to Costco. For ease of shopping and speed of checking out, they have many similar items.

There is a employee that works their name Kat, she is so friendly wonderful person to know for the last 8 years. We never have a bad day she can tell and I leave that store feeling much better and happy. It's good to know someone where I go shopping all the time to see a friendly face. Keep up the good work Kat , you are a awesome person.
