Our agency has been unable to access Sandata for 8 weeks. It took us 7 weeks and over a dozen emails and phone calls to reach a supervisor who could actually help us. She was not able to solve our problem, though. She just told us that:

1. It is a major problem affecting over 90 agencies.
2. It is very important to them; they've attended many meetings about it.
3. Their front line customer support gave us so many wrong and conflicting answers because they weren't included in those meetings or even told they had happened.
4. There is no estimate for the repair timeline.

5. It will be faster and easier for our agency to change vendors, port over our data, and train our staff on the new software.

Sandata failed to provide updated credentials to Wellsky and now my parents with dementia may lose caregiving services because nobody has a workaround to submit the data and the agency hasnt been paid for a month and a fix may take several weeks.

Very problematic system. Very unhelpful staff. Agencies are losing money due to their lack of helpfulness/knowledge. They don't even know how to fix their own issues then they blame the agencies for not knowing how to operate it. Disorganized. Rude customer service. We've gotten nothing but problems and delays with billing because of the constant issues we keep finding. I don't even know how they're still in business, they need to shut down. Don't even waste your time with giving them a try.

If I knew then what I know now about working with Sandata I would never have agreed to use them as a software vendor. We spend so much time dealing with issues that it distracts us from trying to run our business. I haven't been able to get claims to go through to our state EVV aggregator for the entire month of April. Their solution was to open over line of the claims and put in a reason code and resubmit to the aggregator. That's about 500 lines a week. I would have to hire two full time people. Totally impractical, now I can't get anybody to return my calls.

I recently installed the latest update for Sandata, and I must say, it has been a frustrating experience. The new design is not intuitive, making it hard to navigate even basic features. The user interface feels cluttered and confusing, with important functions buried under multiple menus.

You know with all this EVV stuff you would think they have customer support. But when you call it says hey go talk with Sandy the AI, or the on-demand self-help or submit a ticket and wait for somebody to get back to you. This is insane!!

System doesn’t work, it will delete half of your selections. In your nurses note once you attempt to save, and it results in you filling out your nurses note multiple times before submitting. The application is also extremely slow and is non-beneficial to any healthcare worker. If you want to hold onto your staff, I would definitely not recommend this product. I have been a nurse for over 16 years and this is the worst application I have ever used.
