This company does not respond back to any communication whatsoever. I have been requesting a detailed spec of work done with the actual cost to do it so another contractor could go over it because RUPCO did not do the job (1) correctly, (2) to code (3) I have a lien on my home for this particular project and I have to now pay to have it corrected! BS! I will be taking this to the next level and if I have to will hire an attorney to sue this company for false charges, not up to code sloppy work, making up numbers for their benefit etc. I will and have no problem exposing them

As of 10/4/24 We are dealing with black mold I have called my worker more then once because of no return calls. I tried to explain the urgency of the matter accused of yelling on the phone witch was not the case. I did get so upset that I said now this is yelling . This my health and being a survivor of sepsis as of 3/1/2024. Over 2 days and no return call back. I was told it no RUPCO's responsibility okay then who the hell helps when you can't get the property manager to help and maintenance? Just falls on def ears

As a landlord who works with RUPCO on providing Section 8 housing, I can't rate RUPCO's performance low enough. Actually getting someone to pick up the phone, or answer an email when you have an issue is next to impossible. In the off chance you do get a warm body to help you, don't expect much in the way of helpfulness or professionalism.

I realize I am just one person and this is just my experience. However, an organization that is dedicated to “strengthening communities” and “improving lives” simultaneously being solely responsible for putting a small business owner out of business, leads one to question their mission statement wholly, and wonderif it’s all just smoke and mirrors.

RUPCO has destroyed my life. I had two catastrophic floods within 10 months in my boutique in the space I rent from them. I moved into 86 Partition St. on March 1st, closed March 19th because of Covid, the first flood was June 1st of 2020, the second flood was April 16th of 2021 - 10 months apart, only 6 of which I was open. Both times all of my merchandise was destroyed. Total in damages: $130,000, plus having to take out loans and go into credit card debt to replenish my merchandise TWICE in less than a year during a pandemic. I was offered nothing, I was told they would not be making a claim with their insurance and that it fell on me. (They did in fact attempt to make a claim but were denied. Something I was made aware of in court.) My insurance wouldn’t cover it because both floods were due to negligence. I received a rent demand for $20,500 in May of 2022, replied, never heard anything again. I received a second rent demand for $44,000 + in August of this year. To make a long story short, I had court on November 21st. I have to be out of my space on December 31st with a $44,000 judgment against me.

Rupco is the definition of a wolf in sheep‘s clothing. They have taken my livelihood, my soul; my business is all I have. My store allowed me to finally escape an abusive relationship, one that I am going to end up having to go back to because I will have no way to provide for myself, and I have such severe PTSD from this, and the many other things that have occurred since I tried to put roots down in Saugerties, that I will not be able to take care of myself. I feel paralyzed with fear and anger.

I suppose I can apply for assistance through them?

I am on waiting list for help with my house repairs since March 2019 and nothing happens.I am retired widow of Veteran ,I am 68 how many years more I will have to wait?Until my porch will collaps? Also RUPCO has not faxed my aplication to City of Kingston office of economic & community development to move me ahead of their waiting list ..since i have been asking hrlo already since I
