Kerrie McDaniels and everyone in that office is wonderful. They actually listen and take time with patients. I never feel rushed and no matter how many issues I have she addresses every one of them. My appointments have always been on time. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I've been going to rivus for a couple years. My provider left and I started seeing Lami Edie a few months ago. She listened to my concerns about not wanting to be on high doses of an antidepressant and mood stabilizer and lowered them for me. In the past providers would keep raising the doses when I mentioned i was still having symptoms that those meds didn't take care of. She listened and took my other symptoms seriously and got me help for them. She also suggested I start taking a supplement I had never heard of and it actually has helped my memory a bit! I was struggling with my memory at work and it was causing me a lot of stress while I was working so im thankful for her suggestion. Overall I'm happy she's my new provider and I highly recommend her. She's also very kind and easy to talk to which is great for someone like me who has very bad social anxiety.

If you are desperate for care, plan on staying desperate at Rivus. My life has not just been put on hold for this place—I’ve had to face significant negative consequences in my life because my symptoms weren’t managed in time. Even the satanic CMH clinic I used to work for operated more ethically than Rivus.
I have more complaints (about 10 of them) than I can type here, so l'll stick to some of the most important points:
The continuation of my medication has been delayed for absurd amounts of time for what I believe is their own financial agenda.
They rejected my extensive medical history at the first appointment to do their own testing to confirm a diagnosis I already have. They stretched that testing unnecessarily over a series of follow-up appointments, delaying my care in the meantime. Today, after finally confirming that I really do have the disorder that’s wreaked havoc on my life for decades, they asked me if I *had considered starting treatment* for the disorder. Then they attempted to send me through a round of tests that they already administered, which my experience has showed me would have meant a 4th follow-up appt with still no treatment between now and then. When I confronted them about it they said they didn’t know they’d already administered that test to me. I asked why they didn’t know but didn’t get a clear answer.
Another major problem is the wait. I have never been seen even close to on time and the waiting room is never full, adding to the mystery of why they are always late by 20-50 minutes.
I have worked in mental health clinics for years and I have a good idea of what typically goes on behind the scenes at these kinds of places. The only explanation I can see for why it's so bad at Rivus: they just want your money and they just don't care.

Came into them to do clinical study and it's been over 48 hours since I've had this card and no payment yet and they said it would take 48 hours from the time I got the card I would not recommend this Clinic to anyone or even especially for the clinical studies because they failure to pay for them. Go elsewhere especially if you're doing a clinical study.

The front office and administrative staff at this office are absolutely atrocious communicators. On top of constantly sending my medications to the wrong pharmacies, being unable to get their own policies straight regarding in-person vs. telehealth appts and whether drug screen orders can be sent to external labs, AND being difficult to get a hold of, I was just informed that I will owe $120 in backed up copays at my next appointment. I was also informed that there are THREE VISITS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN BILLED, and I can expect another $90 in copays tacked onto that once they are.

The excuse they gave me for not collecting OR INFORMING ME OF THIS is that I do monthly televisits and only come in-person every three months and "well the insurance wasn't billed right away and sometimes people like to wait to see what they owe before we collect the copay..." I have worked in doctors' offices for years. My family is largely made up of medical assistants, nurses, and healthcare administrators. I have never heard of anything working this way or delaying billing as far back as THREE MONTHS being at all "optimal" for anyone. My copay is normally $30. I have seen a provider here monthly since March and have paid at least twice in-person when I've physically been into the office. I should not still owe $210 in copays in the first place (unless the gal on the phone was referencing my total copay; confusion when dealing with this office isn't new, either). It is also not my fault that some of my visits as far back as AT LEAST THREE MONTHS have not been billed. (And, of course, I will be confirming everything with my insurance as well.)

It's really a shame, because I think the providers here are great. I decided the trip was worth it because this office came highly recommended by my therapists' office in Tulsa and it would give me a reason to visit OKC every few months to explore. But I just can't deal with what poor communicators front office/admin staff are anymore. The copay stuff was really just the icing on the cake. I will attend my final appointment here next month, pay my balance, and find a new office closer to home.

Was a virtual appt, provider never showed, I called the office at that point and they said she was with someone else. Rescheduled me to that afternoon, she was 10 minutes late, then never verified my identity and ended up discussing meds and diagnosis that weren’t me… then said “oops! Wrong chart, who are you again?” Concerning the appointment in the morning, she stated “they double booked me, I had a patient in office and your virtual at the same time, it wasn’t my fault.” After my appt the scheduler called to schedule follow up and I asked not to be double scheduled, she said they don’t do that, I told her what doc said, and she said, well that’s not true. Just be honest people.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! It's now 20 mins after opening and the office is "closed" and no one will answer the phone. I HIGHLY recommend finding someone else other than this place. They're a JOKE. Love to deny patients medicine they rely on and NEED for mental health. I am currently withdrawing from my meds YOU DENIED ME. And now won't even answer the phone! WHAT A JOKE OF A DOCTOR. What mental health profession denies medicine a patient NEEDS for mental health issues and let them withdraw from it.
