Search about a week to get a decision, and the only reason I didn’t get the places because lack of real estate secured loan information to feel bankers with high credit limit to feel accounts paid as agreed to many bankers with high balance compared to credit limit, and number of inquiries adversely affected the score, but not significantly for one. I don’t have any credit number two I definitely don’t understand this, so I did get denied for the apartment. Not too good of a company and I made four times the rent but oh well it’s life

I would give 0 if i could, was trying to get a rental home and i paid their application fee and my background was perfect. Every call I made to this company would go straight to voicemail or say they are closed. The communication was terrible and the time wasted was insane. They called me 1 time telling me they need to speak to my landlord and after he's tried contacted them multiple times. Everything about this company is screaming SCAM. And I will be taking this further will a attorney! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

I have used Resident Research for over 5 years. Their application questions are customizable which is important to us. When tenants upload everything that is needed, their response is quick and accurate. They are just reporting what they collect from the three credit bureau's. When the stated income on the application, matches the bank statement and there is a history of rent payments being made, on the bank statement, they have always processed quickly.

I am a property manager who uses this screening company. They are thorough and pleasant to work with. Please note that the negative reviews are mostly coming from applicants that were denied residency for one reason or another. It’s a thankless business to be in but Resident Research has been a a great company for us.

Seeing the reviews I got a bit scared they were processing my rental
Application, but to say the least they processed my application in literally 3 days; whether it results in an offer or not - at least they were so seemingly with the process on their end, so fast and I must have called like 4 times and each time I was met with good positive attitude and great customer service. Just as an example, one time I was speaking to one of the ladies and her phone started breaking up at several point in times, instead of being upset or giving me attitude she literally tried several times to fix the issue on her end until I was able to finally hear her. Seriously great customer service, also I may have only had one time where I called and no one picked up, they are always available and super responsive and respectful which is most important.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I applied to an apartment Saturday and didn’t hear anything back from them. It took me emailing them on Tuesday afternoon to even get them to look at my application. After going back and forth with them for 2 days they insinuated that my employment was “questionable” even though I’ve been with the same company for 4 years, making 6 figures and was more than qualified for the home I was applying for. Not only did they waste almost a week of my time to complete something that should’ve taken max 24 hours, it ultimately cost me getting the home. Unprofessional, and lazy.

I am a landlord that uses their service to perform credit checks. When prospective tenants apply online, we are due part of the application fee. They consistently hold our portion for 45-60 days. I have tried to talk to the person in their billing department and she almost never calls me back. I have tried to talk to management and supervisors about this procedure. I am still owed money from August 31, 2019 and it is now October 22, 2019. I am now looking for a new company to conduct our credit checks. I am highly dissatisfied with this company and dissuade any landlord from using them.

The way this company conducts its screenings makes zero sense. We applied to a rental property (managed by Park Avenue Properties) on Friday, June 10th. Our credit was immediately pulled but we received no communication regarding our application or its process until Thursday, June 16th. The company was trying to get in contact with our current landlord for rental history. The current landlord provided a perfect history. However, the next day, Friday, June 17th, we received a rejection of our application due to our credit history. What doesn't make sense is if our credit history was the sole reason for the rejection, why wasn't our application rejected immediately? Why contact the current landlord and signal to us that we were still being considered? If credit history is the primary driving factor - not criminal, rental or income verification - why not simply pull the credit and issue an immediate rejection?
