Just had a very positive experience with Hayati at RapidScan3D. Quick turnaround and great communication. Was very happy with the final scan file - especially since I think that he went a bit further than originally estimated. Final hi-res scan was converted to a CAD file that 'holds water' so I can go straight to the 3D printer without further refinement. Very happy with that level of service and will return.

I needed a scan of a custom automotive suspension part and discovered Rapid Scan 3D on a recommendation. I wanted the flanges and mounting points to be accurately modeled to roughly ~0.2mm accuracy. After discussing the project with Hayati @ Rapid Scan 3D, it was clear that their reverse engineering service was within my budget and would save me a ton of time later on if I wanted to send my design out for CNC manufacturing. Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations on time, money, and final deliverables. I now have the 3D model STL, STEP files, and SolidWorks files giving me the most flexibility to digitally tweak the part and have it manufactured. I'm looking forward to using them again in the future, and I recommend them to anyone else looking for 3D scanning or reverse engineering services.

Rapid Scan 3D is highly recommended!! I called a number of 3D scan services and Rapid Scan 3D were the most friendly, knowledgeable and priced fairly for my project. Jeff has been great guiding me through the process as well as Hayati getting into the details of my scan. The experience was quick and efficient. Not only did they help me scan my project but ended up sharing with me the detail of their equipment and the possibilities of 3d scanning. I was looking for some company to 3d scan my custom one off part , I’m glad i found rapid scan 3d . Not only are they fast with the turn around time , they also can do updates and changes to your CAD and 3d print file as needed. The prices are fair , and there were no hidden fees.

They also give good advice on the next stage of your build. I appreciate the honesty, and they never missed a timeline.
I went through 10 changes with my 3d print until I was satisfied with the CAD file , and they shipped me 3 d printed parts of my file , as I kept changing the build they were patient and professional.

They do not pressure you or hassle you. They also follow up with you, and make sure your satisfied with the service. I will do business with them again, they have the best service.

I contacted Rapid Scan 3D because they were nearby my office. I am very pleased with their services. I used their 3D scan capability to get a exact drawing of the brake handle of a race motorbike. They provided me the drawing the next day of my part's deposit.
From the drawing i was able to extract the exact dimensions, reversed engineering the handle. With my modified drawing i ask them to print an ABS handle 3D to test changes. Again Rapid Scan 3D provided a Printout 3D the next day. Great service and great prices.
