This school is the perfect size. Lots of unique majors and opportunities. Parking could be better and more food options would be nice, but the campus is beautiful. Faculty and staff are awesome and always have time for students. My major classes had 15 to 20 people and I loved getting to know everyone on a personal level. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone who isnt sure where they want to go!

Pretty campus but super confusing on GPS if you have to type in a dorm room. At Virginia Tech you can do it so I assumed you could here also. But I got super lost while instacart deliverinf bc of the confusion.

So far so good my daughter first year At the school everybody's been pretty friendly and helpful. I will say that they need to buckle down on underage drinking and tolerance of incidents that happen.

Unfortunately, I have had to revise my rating to ONE star the last two semesters a total disaster with the busar office they are not able to explain simple ledgers they are constantly adjusting charges. Today the RA went to my daughter's room and said that she should be packing her stuff to get out ..... Believe me, I pay my bills on time they messed up her account and then gave me less than 24 hours to remedy it. My daughter tried to visit the Bursar office and they said no one was available ... Totally unprofessional and needs some training on empathy, customer service, and good business practices. I am not sure how they are teaching students any of these since they do not practice themselves. I would look for other universities like JMU maybe or CNU they seem to have stuff in order and prevent a nightmare with the admin team at the school.

Radford University is a great place to go to college for someone that is looking for a great education, great facilities, an exciting campus life, and a friendly and united community.
As an international student I've had a great experience in my two years that I've been studying at Radford. The faculty is great, well knowledgeable in their subjects, and are always willing to help you, the student life on and off campus is fun, the smaller class sizes enable you to learn better and enable you to get to know your professors, the campus is beautiful, the facilities are mostly modern and well equipped.
The university is constantly investing and working in improving the quality of education, the competitiveness of the school, and resources that we have, and it is clearly getting better every time. I would definitely recommend anyone to come to RU an experience what I have experienced so far.

As a 1994 graduate, I can honestly say that RU was a great place to obtain an education. Small town atmosphere with big city amenities. Will gladly send my kids there if they so choose, with no reservations. Go Highlanders!

If i could legit give ZERO STARS, I would.
This is NOT... I repeat NOT a good school. If you are design/business major the staff do NOT work with you and the accommodations are a joke. You have to re-do them all again next semester.

Secondly... the RA's #do not do their job. We had a huge issue in our dorm building and restrictions had been in place for the people who were causing the issues not to come back into the building. The RA's allowed them back into the building, saying they were... "Safe" to be in the building.

The building muse is even WORSE. the staff there don't take care of all the fights and drug use that happens there. Two of my friends were sexually assaulted in that building and left Radford because of it. I can't speak for other dormatories, but Muse and Trinkle are NO GO'S.

People are very rude and try to start drama with you and also... if you do come to this school, please PLEASE lock your bedroom doors.... people like to steal!

Also the graduate teachers are the WORST. I've had a few, all if whom didn't like their students. They're mucj younger teachers, fyi.
I only have one grad student professor who is a decent human being.

Also people here are really racist. There's so much racism and fights here, it's insane.
It's better to pick another school if possible,
Especially when it comes to safety. The staff do NOT care about your safety
