Choose Northern Pacific Power! Here is why: I did all the research, I interviewed the top companies, I had three quotes then I was referred to Northern Pacific Power. NPP was by far the best in terms of the price, quality of the equipment (brand/quality of the panels, electrical components) and battery backup. They offered multiple financing options. They evaluated my energy use and provided me with a clear plan and schematics of how the panels would look and function. The project management team and the crew work seamlessly together and were always available for my questions. Everything was explained in detail. They installed 26 panels and the electric in 4 days! Not only that, but they scheduled and were present for every inspection, (PG&E, County, etc.) They took care of the permit, battery rebate and all the necessary paperwork. They were polite, clean and a pleasure to do business with. My PG&E bill was over $500/mo. No more!
From the design to the final inspection this employee-owned operated company exceeded all my expectations. I am SO grateful I did not choose any other company. I'm thrilled!

Writing this review one year after my system was installed (23 solar panels, power wall battery, span smart panel, and EV charger). Everything has worked perfectly, exceeded all expectations; I could not be happier with the experience and this company.

No, they were not the cheapest bid we received, far from it (solicited several bids from Tesla, larger national companies, and a couple other local installers), but they easily offered the best VALUE we could have received.

I did a lot of homework on my system and our needs, and Northern Pacific from the beginning was among the most knowledgeable, versatile, and professional. They offered the best and latest technology (others tried to push older, less efficient panels, older central inverters, etc), they were the most versatile (created a reverse tilt system on the north slope of the roof to increase the number of panels and their efficiencies, had great suggestions for some additional hardware, etc.), and very professional – very responsive from their sales team, project lead and installers – and the quality, care and attention to details on the installation really blew me away.

They clearly worked hard to have the system look attractive – not routing conduit all over the roof (that’s the hallmark of a cheap installer) everything is hidden and tucked away. Even in the attic, the install was very slick and tidy (a sign that they take pride in their work). The team even ran some open conduit to my panel to help with any future circuit additions, which I was very grateful for this summer when we added a circuit for a hot tub. Geez, even their stucco guy who patched the work around the new electrical panel was amazing, easily the best blending I’ve ever seen (anyone who has had stucco work done would appreciate how good this job is).

One year on, the system has worked flawlessly, and the power generated is above projections. This was a big investment, and we chose the right team. I wanted the best, and we got it. I couldn’t recommend them more and would not hesitate to send a friend or family member to them in the future.

Northern Pacific Power Systems just completed a solar and battery backup installation for us. We had a great experience with them, and I'm 100% happy we selected them out of the four companies we received quotes from. The sales representative, Russel, and the project manager, Devin, were both friendly, straightforward, good at communicating, and smart and sensible. They met all our needs, including some unique issues like battery backup to our well pump at a different control panel away from the battery, which Tesla, for example, was unable to provide a reasonable solution for when we received a direct quote from them. Pricing was fair, similar to Tesla's, but for a significantly better overall package. Northern Pacific's total price was also about 33% lower than one other, larger solar company's estimate, which seemed excessive (and beyond our budget). And Northern Packific made no mistakes, as opposed to one other company that made nearly a $15,000 estimating error in their original bid and then tried to backtrack. Northern Pacific's installation team - Jonathan, Raymundo, Juan, and Alexander - were also fantastic. They arrived on time, worked diligently and efficiently, and were enjoyable to be around. You can tell it's a good company when every person on the team works hard, displays a high degree of professionalism, does quality work, and seems genuinely happy to be there. The team went above and beyond and even corrected some electical work that wasn't particularly well done by the electrician when our house was originally built, with no additional charge. The system looks great. The panel layout is perfectly centered on the roof, and the battery/equipment layout is clean, square, level, and done with excellent attention to detail. At the end, Devin walked me through the key points of the system and the app to see our solar production, battery charge level, and energy flow to and from the grid. This company is super easy to work with. Exceptionally competent. I highly, highly recommend them!

The folks at Northern Pacific are terrific. The installation of my solar and battery system was first rate. I've now had the system for about 2 years and everything has worked extremely well. When I had any follow questions, their response was quick and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Grey Keiser (Director of Operations) for his time walking me through how all the equipment & software operates.

My wife and I got 4 quotes for solar and a battery on our home. Out of the 4 companies that gave us quotes, Northern Pacific Power Systems and specifically Graham, were the only ones to meet us face-to-face. Graham went over our PG&E usage, sat with us, talked through a full solution with solar panels and a powerwall and at the end of the meeting it was clear as day that Northern Pacific Power was the company we were going with. From signing the initial contract to permitting, our project manager Devin was on top of it. He kept us in the loop every step of the way. Communication with scheduling to the day of the install far exceeded my expectations. Jonathan and the install team gave us a call the morning of the install with a clear ETA, they arrived and got the system knocked out efficiently. I forget the name of the rest of the crew but these guys work hard. Their attention to detail is phenomenal and the solar on our roof looks clean and is perfectly centered on our garage roof. Not to mention it was hot that day and these guys were sweating in the sun with a good attitude and smiles on their face, which for me as a customer is a cool thing to see, a team that likes what they're doing. Juan then got the powerwall and the rest of the electrical hooked up, he showed me how to use the system and answered any questions I had. All the way from the initial meeting to when we crossed the finish line and had PG&E approval on the system, the entire Northern Pacific Power Systems team was a joy to work with. Their professionalism, communication and efficiency was far above what I could have imagined when we first started looking for solar contractors. If my wife and I move to a larger home in the future that doesn't have solar, the Northern Pacific Power Systems team are the only ones I'm calling to get solar installed.

This is a great outfit to work with. From the beginning there was no pressure, but a willingness to help me design and understand my solar system. I had a lot of questions and made some changes in order to accommodate a tree from being removed. I was able to get a loan from Sonoma county that was presented as an option by their team.
