Wish I could rate zero stars. I had a serious surgery done March 14,2023 and my medical staff neglected to provide me with any discharge meds someone dropped the ball. Then took like three days to hear back from anyone and when I did they gave me a medicine that didn't help me at all. I called back and reported that I was having issues with fever, nausea, on-going pain that is totally unbearable all day everyday since my surgery with no relief except when I am sleeping. But all they say is go to the hospital. But if I call 911 the ems where I live will only take me to horrible local hospital where I will just sit in a waiting room for 6 hours or longer without being seen or talked to. Being coughed on by a bunch of nasty dirty sick people with no home training or manners. Eventually I will cry from so much pain and agony be ready to almost give up. Then text or call my uncle. And he will offer to get me a ride for a second opinion to another hospital in Pittsburgh I usually go to Shadyside hospital it's closest and my hospital of choice even though ambulance always refuses to bring me to this hospital even though my insurance is what pays them so I should be able to go where I want to go for treatment as long as it's not a emergency. Then Magee even now is no help I am hurting can barely walk or eat and they could careless won't even give me anything to help for the pain just letting me suffer.

Everyone and I do mean everyone at that hospital are amazing. They make you feel as if you are the only person they are caring for. I with out a doubt would recommend this hospital.
