I would not recommend this place to anyone. My daughter and friends were horrified when I showed them my arm after inexperienced staff member aggressively attempted to draw my blood. It is NOT worth the money to be part of their study. The man that was taking my blood, was stressed out, rough, he poked me multiple times in same spot and moved the needle back and forth while in my arm. He bent my arm up and down while the needle was in. He wrapped it so tight after, that I couldn't bend my arm. I have been in pain for a week. I am still bruised. I was asked to come back the next day, needless to say I did not return.
Also, the card I was given for payment was supposed to be loaded within 24 hours and it actually took 4 days. I was treated horribly and had to beg for the payment.

DO NOT SUBMIT Participated on study based on binge eating. I was directed what I refer to facade friendly staff to volunteer blood work which was understandable. After 2 weeks I was contacted and told my White Blood Count was low. I was at odds with this since month prior at Kaiser my lab work was completely healthy. So I resubmitted 2nd blood test and once again I was disqualified for having a low blood count. Concerned as I should be I obtained 2 separate WBC tests and both was well above normal. Oh I forgot to mention I'm also a former physician. I volunteered for this test because I was concerned about my binge eating and was curious if this center could assist. Don't waste your time there.....

I thoroughly enjoyed the study, lost weight and got paid!! Great deal!! More importantly, I was part of a study that would help others, which made this experience that much more gratifying. The staff: Alena, Michael, Irina, Lucia and Kelly were all pleasant, professional and seemed to truly care about the study. I was treated with dignity & respect and enjoyed going there to see all these nice people. Actually sad the study is over. I feel as though I got better just for having met them and following their program! I highly recommend Pharmacology Research Institute for any company that has a new idea that would help others. They are thorough, take their positions seriously while maintaining courtesy and professionalism. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your study!

I have participated in a few different migraine clinical trials over the past few years and have always had a good experience. The staff is kind, courteous, responsible and professional. They take the time to answer all my questions and work around my schedule when needed.

I'm happy to help further the research of alleviating migraines, something I've been afflicted with since age 9.

Went 1st & was told I didn't qualify. Called back &said there is a new survey in which I qualified. They took urin & had me sit with dr and told me I didn't qualify again! Asked why did they call me knowing whats my crudentials .Got applogy without any compensation as courtesy for showing up.Asked to be removed and blocked them

Spent about two months participating in an interesting trial to not only help myself, but many others in the future. There’s great value in helping out where you can and PRI Encino is absolutely the best place to do so.

Michael, Nadia, Alena & even the woman up front to greet me on occasion always made me feel safe, heard & respected. I was even provided a nice free lunch when one of my sessions took longer unexpectedly. Also, you get paid for completing each session, so it’s a no brainer folks. I highly encourage others to support the trials offered here at PRI Encino.

Thank you again to the wonderful team and hopefully our paths cross again at some point in the future!

I've done a ton of research studies over the last 20-25 years, and the last few have been with PRI in Encino... The most recent ones w/ PRI have been for migraine headaches...

Anyway, I can't say enough good things about everyone and everything that goes w/ these studies... They compensate u for each visit, they help u however they can along the way (more then i would ever expect them to), and in my case for this most recent study, they actually helped eliminate any and all migraine headaches for the last 3 months...

If u don't qualify for a study, so be it, they have other studies that u can always apply for later... I'm not sure why anyone leaves a bad review for those reasons... If u'd like to be a part of some research that may help u with whatever condition the study is for (headaches, depression, etc), i would highly recommend giving it a try... When I qualify for any of them, I'm onboard 100%, by far the best clinical research studies I've ever been a part of...

Trash. What's the point of putting in a estimated amount of headaches of they disqualify you for not remembering what you put on the form 1 months ago. Wasted my time and gas driving from Pomona
