Wish I had read the reviews of this business before signing up. The renewal process for this software company is not ethical. They do not provide clear warning of subscriptions coming up for renewal, or provide a clear process to avoid un-needed subscriptions. We were just auto renewed at a cost of $670 USD which is tough to justify when not getting value from a software subscription. If you do sign up I'd suggest keeping track of your renewal date independently and cancelling 30 days in advance to avoid this from happening to you. We learned the hard way and would not recommend working with this company.

>>> UPDATE: I've been advised that the support email that these folks provide no longer handles customer complaints or subscription issues. Not much care here for customer experience.

Just saw a sneaky $540 charge on my bank statement as I did not cancel the free trial membership... The value of what is purchased is not $540, the morality of this is also unjust - they advertise $7.95/month so it was not of importance to me if I were to cancel prior to the trial ending, however if it was stated I'd be charged $540 for forgetting to cancel their free trial then would have never even tried their services. Lucid Business Model: you forgot to cancel your subscription? We're taking $540 from you without you knowing.

DON"T SUBSCRIBE! Over a year ago I canceled my paid subscription. I just discovered they've been billing my CC anyway. So I've lost $129 to them for absolutely no paid services provided. When I approached their support team, I was eventually told they would provide me a credit to use in their software. Really? Oh sorry we stole from you but we'll give you access to our software.

"Unfortunately, I can't offer a refund for charges older than 30 days. I can offer a Lucidchart credit for the amount of the unused time that you can apply towards a new subscription at any time in the future. Please let me know if you are interested in the credit, and I will apply that to your account."

I canceled for a reason. I want my money back. This kind of business practice is what gives subscription services a bad rep. Shame on you.

BUYER BEWARE. Lucid just billed me despite my request to be taken off of auto-renew (10 months ago). I sent that email after being surprised by renewal, which I believe was already canceled.

The card they had on file isn't even active anymore. They somehow charged a credit card that I had never provided to them.

I tried to call their billing department and it just played a message to send them an email.

What a SCAM!!! Literally no one ever answers the phone, nor does anyone answer email or the request to speak to someone via the form on their website. I have been charged time and time and time again despite several requests to cancel. I have contacted my bank to let them know this is fraud and I have reported this company to the BBB. They owe me $180 and despite the links they keep posting for everyone to resolve them taking money that has not been authorized, the links only lead everyone back to yet another form to request to speak to someone. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!! And LUCID, don't even bother posting a link for me to contact hilling to resolve because as you already know your links are just another diversion to keep taking $ that is unauthorized. The BBB will be taking it from here....
