Our LVT unit was a game changer for our seasonal waterpark, operating for over 50 years. Suddenly, a group of smash-and-grab thieves targeted our guests in a remote lot. We immediately received several negative reviews calling for us to act, impacting our bottom line. The challenges of the lot made it cost-prohibitive to extend our existing camera system to the lot. We reached out to LVT, who offered competitive pricing and was able to move very quickly to get us a unit deployed. Upon deployment, the issues stopped immediately, proving how effective it was as a deterrent. The only downside was neighboring businesses asking us where to get one because the issue migrated to their lots. We have renewed our agreement for 4 seasons now. We had some hiccups during our third season related to physical damage to the unit. I reached out to LVT and was impressed by their leadership’s response to “chew the strap,” one of their company values. They went above and beyond to make us whole and then some. Their software has changed for the better over four years, which, as an IT professional, I always appreciate a company’s continued investment in their existing products. To summarize, LVT is doing business right. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to eliminate crime on their property.

It was an absolute pleasure solving a problem with Samantha Wiginton and Ethan Dollar. The problem was LVT put a device up in a gas station parking lot that had bright blue and white lights flashing in my bedroom windows, as well as, my neighbor. As well as a loud, scary monitored voice claiming every half hour that we are being video recorded. This 711/Speedway had zero care, respect or concern for this problem. So I reached out to LVT to see if they could solve the problem. Samantha immediately treated t me with kindness, respect and proactiveness. She truly did everything in her power to resolve the issue. The first days resolves was to get the voice turned down. She also calmed my fears by proving to me the cameras were not looking into my home or property. The next day I got Ethan on the phone, he was equally amazing to work with. By the middle of the next day, they had the situation resolved. I am not a customer or a user nor do I need their services in any way, and yet they treated me with the utmost care and concern. If I ever have a reason to need their services LVT is where I’d put my security monitoring money! Samantha and Ethan deserve recognition for this!

While serving as a Chief of Police we had the opportunity to demo a LiveView Technologies camera. The camera was easy to use and when we needed footage for a criminal case, LVT was quick to respond. The camera was instrumental in helping solve several vandalism and theft cases including a case involving well more than $100k in property damage in a neighborhood under construction. They provide exceptional service and an amazing product.

On their website they claim their customer support team is faster than the amount of time it takes to deter crime which is 24 seconds. I spent the better part of 10 minutes trying to speak with somebody with no luck.

I would caution anyone from consumer to Enterprise level from using this service. I would almost guarantee that there is not a live person actually watching the camera feed at all times and they're using some sort of motion detection function which triggers the auditory warning a lot of security camera systems that you can buy in a big box store come with the same functionality of motion detection that will send a notification directly to your phone and I'm guessing at a tenth of the price. Maybe If I was Walmart I might be able to get a return call from this company. I saw one of their cams in a parking lot and wanted to inquire about 1 for my lot. I have been trying to get someone on the phone to give me some pricing for 3 days now. Left 3 messages and I cant get a return call. 1 guy hung up on me after finally reaching him. If my sales dept was this terrible they would be fired.

Original Post: Not sure why I shouldn't give 1 star at this point, but I don't do 1 stars out of principle, because it seems like the person may be really skewed. This company doesn't want new business, or maybe any business, in my opinion. That's the long/short of the story. I've called several times over 5 business days. Most of the time no one answers the phone. 1 time in 5 calls, I got to a sales guy. He said he would send me a quote for 1 unit, to be delivered literally 20 miles from their office, and they still haven't gotten back to me. If you can't even get someone a quote or deliver a unit for a customer, 20 miles from you, what kind of business is this? Too many businesses these days are run PT. This is clearly another one. Their product meets a needs. I've seen it at job sites. I think they'd actually be excited to run this business, get customers, or even just ANSWER THE PHONES DURING BUSINESS HOURS? Hopefully a hungry competitor crops up shortly, because this is admittedly a good idea, just poorly executed.

Update: A week later and someone responds from the business. I found another competitor within mins, there are other providers out there. I had
a lengthy initial call with the other company. Had a second lengthy call once transferred, and then got transferred to their sales rep in my state. And wouldn't you know, it's been a week and THAT GUY HASN'T CALLED US BACK, LOLLLLL.

Apparently this whole "salesmen don't respond" thing is an industry wide thing. I've come to realize that this camera was a luxury and not necessary at this point, so we're moving on and not going to get one and I'll save the $2600.

It may be worth giving LiveView a second chance, since it seems their immediate competitor was just as unresponsive. I do think it's ALWAYS smart for a business to respond to negative reviews, and their response does take some ownership of their issues and ask to make it right. That's a good sign.
