Amazing people all over the campus. This is a great venue in the arts district where science, technology, engineering, and art meet. (See what I did there? of course, math pulls it all together) I am very excited to see the impact from this community. Every week is a buzz of energy and I highly recommend anyone interested in the future check this place out.

Went to a professional development training here - very nice modern interior and exterior, full machine shops, wet labs, dry labs, work spaces, a cafe with snacks, etc. Great location in the arts district. Sometimes I feel like the back halls are a bit labyrinth-like when they didn’t necessarily need to be - overall the layout of the building feels a bit quirky and odd. The art work on the walls is very cool throughout.

Great place to learn about renewable power and other tech stuff. They have CNC machines and 3D printers if you were ever interested in how they work. They also can do jobs for you for a price. Parking is a pain though.

Incredibly impressive facility for startups in clean energy. Space was wonderful for hosting a company event for a training exercise. Easy parking with lots of parking spots for electric cars.

It's an innovative campus, they have different workshops to help people build their projects or prototype. I was impressed with their CNC machinr lab and 3d printing lab the have some next level stuff in there. The downside is availability and training. It's a bit expensive too.

This location is home to the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (or LACI for short). It's a "place where entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists and policymakers can collaborate, promote and support the development of clean technologies and LA’s green economy".

In essence, it is one big collaboration space with various 'cleantech' startups, community groups, government agencies, and the like all working in close proximity to one another in order to bring about discussion, thoughts, and ideas to the progression of making this world (and LA in particular) a cleaner and greener place.

The LA Dept. of Water & Power has a large chunk of this area dedicated to a "Customer Engagement Center", where customers and the public can come view energy efficient technologies, water saving practices, and the 'home of the future'. People are able to come and view various smart appliances, lighting ideas, and water saving options, all the while learning how to earn rebates on them.

It's definitely worth taking a tour here, or coming to visit, as it gives you a sense of all the new and interesting ideas that are cropping up around green and 'clean' technology.
