Top notch experience, start to finish.
We needed to have our two very old furnaces and AC unit replaced. The salesman was upfront with his estimate and gave us several options to choose from. Nothing will make me walk away faster than a high pressure sales job and there was none of that. He explained the pros and cons of each option and left the decision up to us. The total cost was given up front and was right where it should be.

We made our decision and the replacement was quickly scheduled. The crews were friendly, efficient, and respectful, and completed all of the replacement (both inside and outside work) within 2 days. By day 1 we had heat available, and they completed all of the work in the second day. They even left the machine room cleaner than when they got there. The price we paid was exactly what was quoted with no hidden fees or extra costs added in.

I highly recommend JM Mechanical for any HVAC work.

Austin did a great job today. Not only did he do a job of inspecting the air conditioner but found out in a hurry that what I thought was a problem with the furnace was not the furnace but a water problem underneath the house that was a real emergency with the floor covered with water. I was impressed seeing he was not a water person but suspected that was the problem very quickly and I called my regular plumber who was able to get here quickly.

Needed some assistance with furnace and have used JM Mechanical before. Its not common for me to leave a review, but felt the need here.
Not only were they very Professional and courteous, they were quick to respond on short notice. Both techs were awesome. The problem it turned out, was my ducting. Since I have basic skills, they instructed me on what to do to improve my airflow. Those directions were followed and all is good with system.
Can't thank them enough and appreciate the honesty of helping me out with issue.

I appreciated that JM Mechanical was able to quickly come out and diagnose a furnace that had stopped working at a rental home. The technician diagnosed the gas valve as needing to be replaced. With labor it was going to be $680. My renter checked with another company and they quoted him parts and labor $311. So I had the second company come out to replace the gas valve. The second company tested the unit and said the gas valve wasn't bad but an $18 pressure switch had gone bad. They switched out the pressure switch and had the furnace up and running. They changed the filter and did a tune up. Their total for everything was $174. In comparison, JM Mechanical charged me $161 for their service call. JM Mechanical initially said they were going to charge me $32 for 15 minutes of labor for the service call but then on the invoice charged me $64 for 30 minutes. So apparently they forgot how much time they spent to misdiagnose my furnace. So I paid $161 for absolutely nothing. So choose JM mechanical if you want someone to misdiagnose the problem with your furnace, mark up the price of parts by 300 dollars, and lie about how much time they spent diagnosing your furnace. The technician said the unit was 17 years old and I could think about replacing it for $3500-$5000. I was actually thinking about doing that. In retrospect knowing it was an $18 part that went bad I'm glad I didn't. The second company, by the way, was Backdoor Piping and HVAC. I would recommend them instead. They were great. I'll be using them in the future.
