"Yujin lead the Milpitas BART station’s interior design while with VBN Architects. This station consisted of a prominent public concourse, underground platforms and public art. In addition to poetically and precisely guiding the interior materials colors, finishes and placement, Yujin also coordinate the overall interiors theme with the artists so that the final outcome is a harmonious balance of colors, textures and forms all assembled to delight the travelling public. I hired Yujin to design my in-law unit back in 2010. Yujin was very pleasant to work with. She understood and addressed all my needs. She was meticulous to every minor detail. Her design was well thought out and executed. She goes into every little minor details that I would’ve never even thought of. Yujin’s designs are inspiring and I’m still in awe of the final product up to this day (10 years later).

Fast forward to present day and moved on to a different home. I reached out to Yujin and asked her to help me with a design. After consulting with Yujin, she shared some of her ideas and plans. Although we haven’t pulled the trigger on the second project just yet, Yujin did not leave us in dust and continue to maintain a relationship without ever pressuring us to do anything we didn’t feel comfortable with.

We are excited to be renovating with a Jeon-created space plan and design.To spend time in a Jeon-designed space is to feel welcomed, relaxed, and captivated by the environment. As friends and neighbors, we have long been drawn to the beautiful spaces and cohesive feel Yujin has created in her own home.

Yujin helped us re-think what wasn’t working well in our home’s floor plan, and prioritize renovations. Her architectural knowledge helped us define and budget our scope of work.

Yujin helped us identify our own preferences and tastes. She guided us regarding how to incorporate modern elements that will stand the test of time to achieve a transitional design. Yujin continues to guide us through all of the fine details to ensure balance and cohesion.

Yujin introduced us to materials providers and helped us obtain bids that helped us make a more informed decision when hiring a GC.

In short, Yujin is an inspired, experienced and talented design architect. We can’t wait for our build, and will consider ourselves lucky to live in our own Jeon-designed space.
