?International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-arid Tropics?
ICRISAT-Had been here from our company for team building activities. It’s a crop research institute spread across 3600 acres and completed 50 years in Hyderabad. Well maintained with lush green fields. They have Indian and Western canteens. We tried Western Canteen were you have choice of selecting dishes and only pay for them. Try the carrot/banana bread it’s amazing. Interacted with multiple research students and feedback has been positive. Visit this place with your families over the weekend. Things to do - Birds watching, Peacocks on the field, Sunset Lake, Shivalyam temple. Recommend to take bicycle or vehicle as in evening it gets pitch dark. If you are staying with your family, you have swimming pool (3.6 ft to 12 ft) with a small one for kids. Ample car parking near the housing facility. Appointment is must for the weekend stay. Highly recommended to visit to check out the world’s best research institute in Hyderabad.

Most beautiful, peaceful and scenic place to visit in Hyderabad. Being a Hyderabadi I never got an opportunity to visit this place in the past and was not aware of such a huge campus located in outskirts of the city. Glad I visited this place as I went to attend a meeting here and was surprised to see how well maintained this place is and felt as if I was in some other country all together. I believe I did not covered 10% of the entire campus which is spread across over 1000 Acres. Getting inside is not easy as you need to have an oppointment or permissions to visit as the security is of top class. I could capture this beautiful place in few of my pictures which I am sharing with this review and rest the pictures says it all about ICRISAT. Loved this place.

International research institute on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Has vast agricultural fields inside for research. Very tight security. Only staff, students are usually allowed. Outsiders will be allowed only with permission from insiders. Vehicle allowed only with proper safety measures. If you can visit, then you can see the various agricultural techniques, etc and if you can manage to join the institute, then no better facility than it to learn agriculture.
