State Farm outsourced my whole department to HCL. It was obvious we were just there until they had our replacements trained offshore then they laid all the 1st level reps in the US off. Hopefully no other US companies make the same mistake.

I worked at HCL years ago. Google tagged me as going there recently because I still work in the building, just for a different company. This review is on my time there from 2016-2019, I believe.
That being said, avoid hcl at all costs. This company exists in the US, purely as a visa farm. This is an Indian company. They run it, like an Indian company. I was on one contract, and the people in my area were great. It is the company overall that is the problem.
There is literally no way you are going to move up thr ladder in any significant way unless you are Indian. Is that racist behavior? For sure. Is it racist of me to point it out? I am sure people will say so, but I don't think listing actual facts and events can be considered racist.
After you accept that you will never get anywhere, despite the praise of your (non-indian) manager, you settle in to work. They do a whole variety of shady things to always keep you on your toes. My particular group, had them wanting everyone to clock in on a web page, in a virtual machine, that took 15 min to load. This basically meant that you had to be at your desk 15 min early, and not getting paid. We had to threaten to take them to the labor board on that. Then they backed down.
We were also all hired in as "salary non exempt", which means we qualified for overtime. HCL changed everyone's documents, after signing them, to say "salary-exempt", so they did not have to pay overtime. They "graciously" paid half time for overtime anyway. So if you got 25/hr, they would gift you with 12.50 for an hour of overtime. Just insane. We turned them into the labor board for this, too, but I am not sure what happened there.
Then there was a lawsuit judgement against them, where they were doing other shady things, and I got a payment for that ad long as I agreed to not sue.
Overall, avoid working for HCL at ALL COSTS! I do not care if you are new to IT or whatever. These people do straight up illegal things, and your only hope of advancement depends on the color of your skin. Just disgraceful.

Has to be one if the worst companies I've worked for.
If you like waiting a year to receive the pay raise you earned for being promoted while everyone in the company including HR point fingers at each other to get work done then this is the job for you. English is clearly a second language here which is not a surprise, and they will never reach out to you via email, phone number or other wise unless they need you to fill out a sheet. Also they go through new managers every couple months.

I can’t fully fault this company as an employer, but I’d be lying if I said I was in love with this company, such a proposition would be dubious at best.

- Unfair pay; I made $2 less per hour than every single one of my colleagues, simply because they had a degree and I didn’t, yet I had by far the most experience and half of the ones hired on the same day as me were later fired.
- Unfairly laid off; my reporting manager refused to acknowledge any of the positive developments I had made in the final months of my time here. I was up until 1am completing projects the day before I was laid off, and I chose to work at the office instead of at home to eliminate distractions! So much for my excellence.
- Unstable; during my last week here, I received an automatic email, requesting I return my equipment. Alarmed, I contacted HR, and she told me to ignore it, only for her to tell me, “Today is your last day,” LITERALLY the next day.
- False hope; I was told at the beginning of the apprentice program I would be hired on/promoted after the year-long contract ended, but no. I was told there was no place for me when the year was up. With the previous point in mind…

I am sharing my sad story with this company. I have been accepted for a training program with HCL 3 months ago. I tried to contact them back with more than 5 email, and nobody responded to me!

since the training program will start tomorrow, I decided to email them for one more time, I got the replay that I have not replaying back to the survey that was not to me! I have not received that survey at all. On the other hand, I have been contacted by someone from the training program to replay back to a text message to accept the training. I then sent a screenshot of me accepting the offer, with a message saying that will contact me back! and nobody did that!

Then the person who responded to me told me that I they received my acceptance letter but was listed as abandoned because I have not replayed back to some emails ( none of those email been received at all) I checked the junk as well as spam folder.

The people who contact me did not even offer a 2nd chance after all and withdraw my application from their end!
I am very sad! and I stopped applying for internships after I have been accepted

This company is a scam, why they would set you up for a meeting with their own company claiming a job interview on Microsoft Teams is truly amazing without an invitation to join at or before the claimed meeting time!!!

Whether be it custom software development, to infrastructure management, to Cyber security challenges, deploying turn key solutions to complex business changes, to the overhauling and/or redesigning of entire IT landscape. They have done it all.
