I've read many of the reviews here and I disagree with so much of what I'm seeing. This office is busy but with enough advance notice, they are always helpful and prompt with medication refills being sent to my pharmacy. I travel quite a lot and the doctors have always worked with me, often agreeing to doing virtual appointments on the phone. I've seen more than one doctor here and they are always kind, jovial, and pleasant. My recommendation to those who may be having issues with getting their medication, please give the office at least a week's notice of refills needed. Also, find out their email address. I've not had any issues when sending a request for refills in email. The office staff always gets back to me promptly and the refill sent in within 24 to 48 hours. Things have changed with insurance, doctors, virtual appointments, etc since Covid, and even before that. Medical care is not like it used to be. You could get a cold on Monday, feel like you're dying on Tuesday, and have an appointment with a doctor on Wednesday, no problem. Now, you must go to a minute-clinic for those type of things because you cannot get into a doctor anymore with little notice. The same is true for psychiatrists and the like. They're inundated with new patients as mental illness is at an all-time high. You MUST plan further ahead than ever before. Just my two cents worth.

Worst place in history. Dr's will push on new meds. I've heard this place loves drugs. When you need a refill it takes congress to get a refill. Unfriendly rude people. If you want to give up go there they'll help you finish off. They also love to charge you multiply times. This place should be put out of business immediately.

I have had unsatisfactory service from the front office of this psychiatry from the beginning. On the first day, I was advised that an appointment that I made was not in the books and that I would need to reschedule for another appointment with a wait for up to a week. I did not have a week to wait. I was suffering depression due to the murder of my son in which I witnessed. I needed immediate attention.

Later in that appointment, I was advised that I had to pay for the notes detailing my time off from work. Once printed, that detail was not on the paperwork, and they refused to refund me the money. To add injury, there was a $150 charge to complete the STD paperwork that needed to be sent to the HR department.

In my second interaction, I received a call from a lunching representative. She smacked in my ear throughout the entire conversation. Because I did not have her full attention, she asked me the same questions more than 3 times. The call resulted in leaving a message for the doctor to return my call the next day.

Next day came and the same smacking representative called to ask the reason for yesterday's call. This means that my previous day's inquiry had no resolve, and I never received an answer.

On the day of an inpatient appointment, I received a call to pay my copay over the phone. This was confusing to me as I would usually remit the payment at the time of the in person visit. I refused to make the payment over the phone.

After the appointment, I asked when the Short-Term Disability paperwork would be updated to reflect the new return to work date. They advised me to have a seat to wait for the correct representative to assist me. After a 30 min wait, the same office rep that asked me to have a seat called me to the window to ask me what my inquiry was again. After this, I was livid, and I left the office to avoid public embarrassment and undue conflict.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and will be placing this review on EVERY social post available so that all can beware.

I have nothing but great reviews. The staff has always been patient, kind,& respectful. The treatment has helped with a lot of the physical symptoms of my auto immune issues and also has helped with depression. Best staff all around!

After many years of depression and several different psychiatrists, I never thought I would be not just not depressed but actually happy. I am happy for the first time I can remember! Thanks to Hawkins Psychiatry!

Update 08/06/2024: Towards the middle of my TMS extension I had felt an increase in anxiety which caused me to consider discontinuing treatment. When I had mentioned this to Juliana, she reached out to Dr. Hawkins to let him know. Dr. Hawkins reached out to me that same day to discuss how I was feeling and what symptoms I was experiencing and recommended only doing treatment on one side to see if my symptoms improve which so far, they have. He even came in the next day to retest me to make sure everything was as it should and made any necessary adjustments. Dr. Hawkins was very kind, helpful and genuinely cared about my experience and overall mental health.

Original post - July 2024: I love coming here! I do TMS therapy weekly with Adrianna and Juliana, they're always super kind and helpful! They're like my little friends LOL I love talking to them during my sessions and they're always helpful with the front desk stuff, making sure my medications stay filled and answering any questions I may have. Winnie is my provider and she's extremely sweet and helpful! She never makes me feel rushed during my appointments and she goes out if her way to help me with any questions or concerns. The front desk is always great about confirming appointments. I don't feel like a random patient here, they always remember me and are very welcoming, kind and personable!

On another note, Dr. Johnson is absolutely horrible at keeping up with claims and paperwork, very unorganized and untimely. She's currently two months behind on my short term disability extention paperwork and my claim has been closed and denied because of her. I've followed up on it several times in the past three weeks and my insurance has followed up several times as well and even sends over the paperwork to make everthing simple. She claimed that she sent everything over for this month and that was not the case, they havent received anything since the extension for July and now my leave has extended to September. She's also hardly in office so she's nearly impossible to get ahold of. Dealing with her has not been a pleasant experience at all and I've been on leave since March. Overall, Dr Johnson has made my entire leave stressful.

I have loved the providers here - every single one I spoke with has been patient, kind, and happy to answer questions or discuss anything with me.

The office staff is absolutely terrible. They never know what is going on and they never seem to be able to find anything out. They wound up bothering my provider today when all I asked was if my prescription had been sent or if it'd be sent later - why would they need to go interrupt the providers for that Any time I call with a question about anything, the office staff is incredibly rude and treat me like how-dare-I-have-questions. I have been "accidentally" hung up on MULTIPLE times.

I hate to leave a bad review for excellent health care providers, but the office staff is just too horrible to overlook.

Absolutely horrible, if you value your mental health, go elsewhere. I’ve now been a patient here for six months and never once in that time have they submitted my prescriptions to the pharmacy on time. I run out every single month, which is not only frustrating but dangerous. I can’t get a timely response from anyone. I call and text multiple times and still have to wait a week (at least) to get a refill. I hope this review can help anyone, because if you’re in need of psychiatric services, this is the last place you should go.
