I am so happy to get to tell people about my great experience at Hatchspace last weekend. I was involved in a workshop class to build a skateboard from design to ready to finish. We had such a gifted instructor/leader, that was great at highlighting everyone’s projects unique points, so naturally everyone was into not just their own project, but we were a community of sorts by the end. We, with Steve’s help, plan on meeting again when we have hardware and finishing complete on each unique board. As much as I love my customized skateboard, the experience itself of community and new friends, was a hella great bonus to for myself, and Id bet others. Everyone I encountered at Hatchspace (Jesse, Joe) were so welcoming and amazing too. Do your self and soul a favor by building something with you hands and heart. oh, Steve is helping me pick wheels etc even, today, so need to stop. Wow. (There’s another workshop just like it coming up in couple weeks…catch it if you can)
