The Columbia Space Initiative Rocketry Team is incredibly grateful to FUTEK for their support. FUTEK provided a load cell and supporting equipment that we used to gather thrust data in our static fires. The FUTEK load cells were very accurate and easy to use and allowed us to iterate on our rocket design to achieve over 1,000 lbs of thrust (shown below). FUTEK products allowed us to launch our first ever rocket last year and will power us to launch an even better one this year.

For a few years now, this company has provided us with equipment that has allowed us to accurately and consistently measure the thrust of various iterations of our O-class hybrid rocket engine. For several years now, FUTEK has been providing our Formula Student team with loadcells. These have been applied to measure suspension forces and pressure from the driver on the brake pedal.
