New Update 10/23/24 Buyer Beware As I stated in my post a year ago there is constant up charges every year. We just received another price increase of 8% on the software and 8% on the controller for 2025.
(Originally review 10/1/23) I liked the software in the beginning but Since Easy Storage Solutions was acquired by Storable support is slow. In addition it feels like the company has began to get greedy. You can expect your price to raise every year. They also just instituted new rules that the customer has to use storable’s credit card processing which is higher priced then our original provider. plus they charge a per unit transaction fee on top of the monthly fee and the percentage deduction. The biggest problem is now you would have no options if they decided to raise your credit processing every year as well which is why you should always keep your processor provider separate from the your storage software. Disappointing that they have taken a good software and instituted so many changes and added so many fees. Just look at the last year of ratings all 1 star since the new ownership.

When I first started using Easy Storage Software it was great. Plus their customer service was wonderful. Over the past several months the credit card processing rates have increased, their fees have increased, and the customer service has significantly declined. AND, I cannot believe a company shuts down completely for a "company wide meeting". Once while on the phone with their customer support along with the gate repair person, they hung up on us to attend the "company wide meeting"!! The gate repair person had just wasted their time coming to help repair the gate controller and I wasted my time on the phone with them since they did not resolve the problem before hanging up on us. Additionally, regardless of a company meeting, for the amount we pay to them every month, they should be available despite the company wide meeting!! Over an hour I had to wait until I could contact the customer support to resolve a software issue for a tenant. Higher prices and poorer customer support equals a good recipe for failure. If I could find another software company with equally good software, I would switch!!

Software is great but they seem very greedy lately. My price has been raised 140% in less than 4 yrs! That's not to mention the SEO fee raising as well. Support used to be great, but now there is long waits on hold before you can speak with someone. I will definitely be shopping for a new software provider as the cost of service should not have increased 140% in less than 4 years! Look at the 3 most recent reviews. You can tell that is approximately when Storable aquired Easy Storage Solutions. All the previous great reviews for Easy Storage Solutions are meaningless, that company doesn't exist anymore. It was great!

We have been an owner for the last 15 months and started using Easy Storage software from day one of our purchase of the project. Easy Storage assisted in the set-up and the launch was totally successful. Our tenants love the pay-by-credit card to be very easy and convenient. Many immediately converted to use of credit card. The Easy Storage software allows us to offer a discount for prepayments for 6 months or 12 months in advance. Several of our tenants converted took advantage of the discount.

We are very happy and satisfied to have instant access to all our data. We have no regrets on our decision and recommend others to investigate the software.

Just completed our first billing cycle using our new software and everything went very smoothly. Set-up of this software was very easy, and customer support is incredible. Everyone who answers the phone walks you through your problem step by step. This software is a big time-saver for anyone with a storage facility, and provides easy to access reports to assist with every aspect of management. The monthly fee is very reasonable, a great value! I highly recommend this company .

Be aware: Bait and switch self storage software, they lure you in with a low cost, and charge you for everything afterwards, including breathing air. It feels like a 1990's company to charge for everything instead of opening the API like any other modern software company. They charge you a monthly fee for credit card (on top of each credit card charge cost), they charge you a huge amount monthly so your customers can open the gate, they even charge you if you buy a facility that is already using their software. They are just terrible and greedy, I do not recommend.

Pros:
The three things we liked the most about this software when shopping around were:
1. Price - Easy Storage Solutions is able to provide their software at a competitive price without sacrificing quality/functionality. They also provide a website at no additional cost to the user.
2. Automated communications - automating communication for payment reminders, late notices, and lockout notices are easy to setup and make the facilities operation more consistent.
3. Easy of Use - Implementation was very intuitive. We didn't have to ask for assistance in getting tenants setup or establishing the rules of operation for the facility.
Cons:
Although we didn't have to ask for assistance with most of the implementation of the software, it would have been nice to have a single point of contact initially that would be familiar with your operation to make sure we have everything setup how we'd like. The customer support is very responsive whenever we call, but a single contact would streamline the process.
The other thing that would be nice would be an area to enter expenses so everything can be kept in a single software.

Changing software can be really intimidating when you already have a busy office to begin with. Easy Storage Solutions was super respectful about the changeover timeline that worked for our business and I had so many questions in the beginning, they handled my trust issues really well. E.S.S. did a great job with our customers data entry and anytime we need tech support their staff is really quick and friendly. Since using the program I have explored so many features and reports that I didn't even know I needed until I had the luxury of using them. The behind the scenes tech team has also gone above and beyond multiple times to custom create features that make doing business easier. It's truly all in the name - Easy. Storage. Solutions.
