I have the honor to be in the study for an adult RSV vaccination. I learned today one of the concerns is grandparents and other adults going to visit newborns , they can spread RSV to that precious newborn! Why would you not want to be in such a dynamic research study! It is called caring!

From 2012, all I had was great experiences by having experience coordinators like Tracy/Stacy and another hispanic female coordinator as well. But this last experience on August 16,2022 was just a waste of my time. I was there for a non alcohol liver study and I had someone very young or perhaps near my age. The study questionnaire went smoothly, it's when the female coordinator Yat... said it's time to do a EKG. Ok it's required, but then I noticed it was not going smoothly for her and of course during my visit I was aware they was expanding their business so construction was taking place inside the business. And I had to stay still 4 times or so as I've lost count how many times she had to do that machine and as a result I had 4 EKG test during that morning. Before she moved me she ask me was my EKG ever low? And i said not that i can recall, i was there in February of this year for a EKG and fibroscan she could have look at the past EKG on comparison. But even in February they never said my EKG was abnormal. But my numbers was between 50-52. So they moved me to a different room and had to do it again, this time she did it 2 or 3 more times but this time she needed assistance and I spoke to cool female assistant that was humble don't want to ruin her name so I'll call her Ms.K. She came in to check on ms.Yat... and at first they said the doctor was ok with the numbers and then the next thing I know she calls me on thursday and tells me that my EKG was 4 point short of qualifying for the study. And I'm like wth, yall tells me inside the room my numbers was acceptable and then calls me on Thursday and tells me the complete opposite. Make this make sense please. And not only that, I ask her why was it so called abnormal and she just did not know how to answer it so thats how I knew she was unexperienced to do such a study. They hire these ppl and throw them to the wolves apparently and then when it boils down to asking questions and you cannot get a reasonable answer that's how you know you've wasted your time. I qualified with clinical trials of texas for the exact same study but I will self administered the drug in my stomach but at home there is 2 phases the 1st phase last for 16 weeks and the 2nd phase last for 25 thereafter. You will need to go weekly with diagnostic so they can administered the drug to you. Compensation is $1,300 for 37 weeks. I would go into more details but its not worth my time as I do not qualify. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️
