I had a laptop that was used mostly for school. I stopped using it after graduating with my undergraduate degree. Problems include cleaning (keyboard and mouse), processing performance, sound card issue, and charger cable (not functioning properly).

At first I was skeptical. After receiving their service, I can say it is acceptable. My mouse cursor on my laptop is now functional. Keyboard can click better albeit some keyboard function issues. My aux/jack port was a problem and not my sound card from what they diagnosed. Cord charger was not repairable.

My hard drive was replaced and updated to Windows 10. My data content including photos and documents were transferred. They even gave me my old hard drive when I asked for it.

Communication was mildly difficult because of a language barrier, but they were able to speak, communicate, and reciprocate in English well. I’m not a tech guy, but I did want a list of diagnoses for my computer. I got it at the end of my receipt as I stated earlier.

The speedy repair was within 3-4 days (including the weekends).

Went to them with a simple request to swap out a part. Got charged a $45 diagnostic fee to tell me the problem was with that part. yes I know that already; I told you that! Then, after being charged fifty bucks to parrot back to me what I already told them, they wanted more than the price of the machine brand new to swap out the part. So apparently their only purpose is to collect bogus diagnostic fees. I know they don't work for free, but there's no reason to go somewhere that charges you money just to leave you back where you started to begin with.

I could not believe that I was asked to sit down and wait because the technician was repairing my computer while I was there! Kind and attentive owner of the business. While I was waiting, I read all their business awards hanging on the walls and found that the owner of the company, Mr. Reza, has a Master's degree in Science and Technology. Your equipment is for sure in the hands of HONEST and highly skilled hands. 100% satisfaction. My computer works and I am back to work! It took 30 min. for all! Best business. Very professional, efficient, reliable, customer service oriented and super cost effective service. Fixed my Dell laptop very quickly. The owner, who sits up front, is clearly dedicated to his work and will go the extra mile to provide the best service at the best price. I had a second computer with structural damage. He searched in great depth, at a fast pace to find the necessary part (which is difficult to ind for this older laptop). I walked out of there feeling I went to the best computer store in Arlington/falls church. I will recommed this place, if you are trying to support small businesses rather than giving business to big corporation like apple or best buy as they might charge you an arm and a leg.

I came to Computer Technology because my dog had knocked my macbook pro off my table and cracked my screen. The fact that I didn't have to make an appointment and pay the cost of a new laptop like someone would if they went to the apple store, made Computer Technology really ideal and convenient for me. They were extremely polite both when I called, and when I arrived at the office in person. Just based on the amount of hardware and tech I saw at the office, I knew I was in the right place, around true technicians! All my questions were answered when I dropped my macbook off, and in 2 days when I returned (I told them I wasn't in a rush) my screen looked as good as new! Overall I got excellent service, and my macbook runs perfectly! I will definitely refer my friends and family. Thank you Computer Technology!

The best computer repair service by far. Got my Lenovo PC fixed together with a good advice on how to keep it healthy. Price was very reasonable and ended up being exactly what I was told initially. 100% will use again.

Battery died in my Toshiba Protege laptop. CTI was accommodating and knowledgeable when I called. Brought it in on a Tuesday and the problem was diagnosed while I waited. Came back 2 days later and a new battery was installed, again while I waited. Very fair pricing and first rate service. No wonder CTI has been in business for 31 years. Thanks!!!

DO NOT trust this shop. I requested a diagnostic and estimate for my laptop, and when I came back to the shop, they replaced the hard drive and gave me a bill for $250. Then a few weeks later, my laptop crashed again, and it turned out it wasn't the hard drive. So then they offered to replace the motherboard for $400!!! They are very dishonest and are looking for a quick buck. They have ignored the complaint I filed against them through the Better Business Bureau, so you can see the details of my complaint on the BBB site.

Reza Safaie does not conduct business with integrity, and their business practices are unethical. He took my complaint and turned it into a personal issue, when my correspondence with him was clearly professional and non-threatening. Just read the e-mails below, and you will see who is speaking the truth. He did not perform the requested service, he charged me for something I didn't need, and he did so without my permission to begin with. This is not how you conduct business, and not how you provide good customer service. Now I have to go elsewhere to get my laptop fixed, as he even threatened me with being arrested if I come back to his shop. What a poor excuse for a business owner.
