The House serves as the permanent Headquarters & Museum of this organization.

Tours of National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century Headquarters & Museum are conducted by Society members. Pre-arranged tours are required. It is undergoing significant renovations-it unexpectedly may close during those actions.

National Meetings for most all societies is in April & in October. Although those are at hotels, expect access to any HQ to be limited during those times.

I was in the DC area for the day and stopped by without an appointment. Their librarian set aside her work to give me a tour of the house and explain its history, and the genealogist answered my questions about the organization. I appreciate all they did to make my visit a pleasure and look forward to gathering the documentation to make application to this wonderful group .
