Our situation was somewhat unusual in that the original surveyor disappeared for months at a time. When we finally tracked him down, he had transferred his files to CIS Surveying. The surveyor apparently didn't give CIS details regarding the status of our project. Once I communicated with Cory at CIS, he committed to get to the bottom of the situation, and did so in a timely fashion. Although there was a lack of transparency as to terms, the difficulty most likely was exacerbated due to the original surveyor failing to perform in the first place. A company is only as good as the owner is willing to take responsibility for his/her associates, and Cory Squire has proven that he is willing to fully accept culpability in this instance. He personally reached out to me and we were able to discuss the overall situation and reach an amicable resolution.

Do not use CIS for any surveying that involves a legal dispute. CIS will fail to communicate with you, take instruction, or respond. I would recommend you tell the opposing party to use CIS and that you hire someone who has experience in legal disputes.

I wish I could give a zero star. Because of this company, several families have been building on the wrong lots!! Thousands of dollars lost for them. They do not mark their survey sticks! And this is not
The first time this company has done this. They were even begged to mark the sticks, and promised to do it, but NOPE. Such a joke!

Dont know how these guys are at surveying but I just wanted to say something about Cory's character. we were on Interstate 15 on a Sunday afternoon coming home from camping when our trailer tire blew and after pulling the spare out from under the trailer and breaking the valve stem. Cory pulled up in front of my truck in his nice dress clothes and offered to help in 100 degree weather , pulled tools and a jack out of his truck. Took my tire to a friend's shop and had them open up their shop and repair our tire Not many people like that left in this world. My family and I are grateful. got us on the road quickly in 100 degree weather.thank you so much

Cory and Kyle were amazing to work with. Their price was excellent. They got a boundary line and topo survey done for me much faster than any of the other surveyors I contacted. They were very responsive to my queries. These guys are at the top of my list from now on.
