Just transferred here from Pierce College. The EOP Resilient Scholars Program, DRES, Geography Advisor and my Geography Professor are super amazing. The campus is so beautiful and huge. They have an orchard on campus, so be sure to check it out!
I never thought about transferring while at Pierce, but my counselor convinced me, so here I am and it was a good decision. I do have to say, to make sure you keep up with your studies or you could fall behind quickly. Be sure to communicate with your professors too, a lot of them are very understanding!

I'm there for grad school in comparison to community colleges and my undergrad degree at San Diego State, I personally feel much more frustrated with CSUN. For example, financial aid has very limited hours, a lot of staff on campus are somewhat rude or unhelpful (not all of course), Food is very overpriced on campus unlike the community colleges, and there are a lot of IT issues with wifi/duo. I think It probably is a really good value for undergrad, but for $27k/year for grad school, I wish that for example financial aid people were more familiar with the process for grad students. On the plus side the oasis center has very cool massage chairs, the gym (src) is awesome, and healthy services at the klotz center are great.

Loved it here, from teachers to school, everything during my grad studies was awesome. Teachers were fair, had high expertise and were always very helpful. Learned a lot at CSUN.
I also enjoyed the facilities, e.g. the gym or pool.

Had a campus tour, met with the EOPS Resilient Scholars Staff and talked about possible transfer to CSUN from LA Valley College. CSUN has a beautiful campus with great facilities, a city within a city.

Beautiful campus, involved student body with fun events, helpful resources like free printing, low tuition, above teachers and classes. I got engaged, my bachelor's degree in 2015 and had my wedding at the university in 2016.

Many great professors and great facilities at this university. Will recommend this to anybody who is thinking of pursuing their higher education.

Some facilities I really appreciated:

The university library has
Mac or PC computers, a studio for filming, recording, or 3D printing, many tables that are spread out evenly throughout, study rooms, and many people there to help.

The oasis center is equipped with
nap pods, massage chairs, and outdoor lounging.

The gym has 5 levels of so many options to get a great workout in.

There's more I can mention, but it's better if you check it out yourself and see all the many things they have to offer.

The professors

Are professional, stay on topic, do not shift over to political topics or other touchy topics, and provide much useful valuable knowledge to students. They have been very helpful in many ways.

I'm a fellow alumni here so I'm familiar with the area. I came here today to eat my lunch since we can't dine in during this pandemic. So CSUN is very quiet now and it's free parking. I was able to find parking easily here and found a nice spot to eat my food while enjoying the outdoor. There were some people walking around or having picnic but CSUN is a big campus so you can social distant. Just keep in mind everything is closed and locked so if you need to use the bathroom, you likely won't find one.
