Trustworthy and great guys to send your dog to!! Mark and Brandon were very responsive to any questions and always timely in their response. Still to this day, they are willing to help in anyway. They were always keeping me updated with the progress that Mae was making along with videos. I would not hesitate to send them another pup, when the time comes. Thanks again.

Took my Boykin (Scout) to Brandon and Mark back in 2014. They did a phenomenal job training her. Had her running blinds and taking casts out several hundred yards. I was very impressed with the both of them. They communicated with me throughout the whole process, as well as sent pics and videos almost daily. Encouraged me to come and train with them and scout. Will definitely be taking my next dog to Blackbelt!

Blackbelt Retrievers is an amazing dog obedience training facility. They took great care of my dog Heinz and gave me weekly progress updates. I felt safe and secure leaving my baby in their care.
My dog was a new breed getting him back. He listens so well to me, doesn’t pull on the leash like he use too, knows all the basic commands, and I can even take him places off leash with him coming back to me by saying his name. He is so well behaved now that people don’t believe me when I say he’s still a puppy. It felt good knowing Heinz was getting trained for obedience and hunting.
I cannot recommend BB retrievers training program enough. They went above and beyond in all things. From the quality food they provided for the dogs, detailed instructions on the commands when you get your dog back, what they would be working on each week with Heinz, on site vet if needed, quick response to texts/calls and they even met me where I was living in Alabama to drop Heinz back off to me! Thank you BB Retrievers for everything you guys do!!

Blackbelt Retrievers is amazing! They trained my hunting dogs, Boomer, missy, Callie, and Jim. 1 is lab and 3 are Gsp…. They are fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for better training! I highly recommended these guys ?

Brandon and his staff at black belt Retreivers are great. We have had 3 labs go and comeback ready to hunt! They are good about sending you videos and pictures while your dog is at school. They treat there dogs with care and respect as if they where there’s. Also good about communicating with you and answer questions once you get your dog back.

Blackbelt retrievers did a phenomenal job training Gunner. He’s the best family dog we could have ever gotten and an amazing hunting dog. I mention that because it is rare to get both and their obedience foundation was not only critical for hunting but for the home too. They take great care of the dogs. In fact, we went to get him food at a dog store right after getting him back and they didn’t have what Brandon feeds them. When we returned to the counter, the owner had looked up the ingredients and said, “Holy cow. That is some incredible dog food. Better than any we sell but it is expensive.” Which was a nice compliment to know our dog was fed the best. We will be sending Gunner back for some tune up prior to next duck season. Lastly, the communication is second to none. You’ll get updates, check ins and even videos. We highly recommend BB retrievers.

Can’t express our gratitude for this place anymore than I already have. Our dog stayed for four months during his training. When I went to pick him up, Mr. Mark spent over an hour with me on all of his training & making sure I was comfortable enough bringing Natty back home & continuing his training with us. I noticed a huge difference within our lab while I was there watching him go over everything before bringing him home. Very informative & enjoys what he does! He kept us updated throughout the months on our lab’s progress as well, which we were so thankful for! We can’t wait to get him out on the field & watch him work!!

Can’t recommend Blackbelt Retrievers enough. I have a 8 1/2 month old German Shephard who was an energetic nut ball before she went to training. I sent her off for 8 weeks and she came home a different dog. Thank you Mark and Brandon. You made my life a lot easier.
