My recent service for my Rav4 was less than perfect. This was my second time getting service through Toyota Care. The first time was great. This time, the tech left multiple plastic trim coverings in the trunk open and the trunk cover sticking up. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to get everything back in place. However, overall still a good experience and the customer waiting lounge is well stocked with drinks, snacks, workspaces, and seating. Overall service time for my oil change and tire rotation was just under 2 hours.

My overall face-to-face experience was friendly and welcoming, Alex Ashari and Elijah Cho were very helpful and informative. What I didn't like was that the price tag for my 2017 Camry went from being $12,000 to $21,000, so, I feel like I'm over paying for a used car (specially when a brand new 2024 Corolla is $23,000) but all 1st time buyers have to be initiated with super high prices, that's just how it is anywhere you go. There were also a couple problems that went unnoticed during the test drive but, thankfully, the Service Department fixed each issue at no-charge, so, I really appreciate that.

Natasha was Wonderful. She gave us the information we needed for our repairs and provided expedient service. She even helped me with another vehicle we had there. The other service advisor did not give us a heads up when our service was completed. Natasha helped us sort it out. Thank you Natasha this is why we “Go places” in our Toyotas because of superb service from Toyotas Natasha.

I had the best experience just before Christmas. Kevin and Matthew are amazing. Dropped my car off for an oil change and asked them to look at my water pump. I was told somewhere else is was going bad. They checked it all out and replaced my water pump using my extended warranty and while doing that the mechanic notices sparks coming out of my alternator. Fire hazard for sure , so they got that covered and replaced as well. Kept me up to date on the process and when it would be done. Great guys great service. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

easy online scheduling for appt. went in for oil change and also received a report of items car might need based on vehicle mileage. no pressure though to schedule those serviced. service tech also provided photos of tire tread and provided info on tread depth. All good info to have. Waited for car and was out in less than an hour. large waiting room.

I arrived slightly earlier than the scheduled time, but after a brief wait, I was able to meet the assigned staff right away. The space was well-organized, and the waiting area was well-prepared. The staff was friendly, and the service was handled quickly. However, it would be better if there was prior notice that general maintenance in the afternoon cannot be completed on the same day.

As a senior woman I felt confident that only the service required would be done. Appointment time was as scheduled. The Technician recommended the cabin filter should be replaced and I was shown the video so I could decide, or afford, having it added to the service.

I arrived at Toyota nation Irvine on Friday at 7am with no appointment and told the team that I needed a tire replacement (screw in the sidewall, I have ToyotaCare.) they said they had the tire in stock and it would be done in two hours. I had another personal appointment so I told them I’d be back at 11am to have it replaced. They said they would be waiting.
I returned at 11 and checked in. I waited three hours before texting the service tech “three hours for a tire change? What’s up?” And receiving a phone call saying they were still waiting for the ToyotaCare authorization and once it was approved they’d have a tire for me tomorrow. I told them initially that I’m from San Francisco, and I was told they had one, and I said I couldn’t spend an extra day waiting for a stock tire. They called me back and corrected themselves saying they’d have one on Monday. I told them again I was from SF and to give me back my truck so I could get it handled somewhere else.
I was very disappointed with my service. Had they just told me initially that they didn’t have it in stock I could have saved myself hours of waiting. In the end I got service from a third party dealer who promised me 90 minutes and delivered in 75.
I’m extremely discouraged to rely on Toyota care service now, since they couldn’t even have a stock Tacoma tire available for the Tire/Wheel coverage that I purchased with my truck.
