I go to Augusta tech and they suck! They never answer the phone for anything and most of their teacher suck as well!!. They don’t have any tutor for the anatomy classes which is also very unfortunate. If you want an education worth your money this is not the place. I have had rude teachers that don’t even try to help you when you are struggling.

I went to Augusta tech. 2010-2017 for different things adult education, you're basically teaching yourself, so I stopped, went back to high school, obtain my high school diploma, went back to Augusta tech early childhood education. The classes I had to take the teachers were horrible, my keyboarding class I'll never forget black lady she act like she wanted to fight me, she came and put her hand on me like forcefully grab my arm because I was trying to get the keyboarding down pack without looking but i looked to make sure my fingers placement we're on the right keys only she got and attitude that's when she walked to my desk and grabbed my book n grabbed me I stood up so quickly. I was highly mature because I had EVERY RIGHT TO DEFEND MYSELF at that time but being my beautiful self I was taught better but she displayed favoritism towards her male students, I reported her across the hall from our class to That lady in the other room she did nothing. So they need to do a whole entire sweep. change out the teachers, we don't know what you got going on personally in your life for all that need to be set aside, if you're not there to actually teach store information, in people help people, why are you there? Then change my major CMA I was make a killing in my grades I obtained A"s, medical terminology, I love that teacher, your the greatest one I met next I think it's insurance management at that time, it's been a while. But my other teacher how she speaks in the class, I understood nothing I don't know I understood nothing. Black lady who wore glasses, brown skinned tone always wore wedge heels. I forgot her name, that's how bad it was. I did not complete that major cause her class, I understood nothing what she was talking about, I don't even think she was teaching what we needed, I understood nothing. It made me feel dumb as heck in her class. We go to the computer class to take a test on the computer only.random..Let's just say my brain gets scrambled when I'm in her class, and then the math class I had to take a white male teacher. He displayed favoritism amongst his students were very much display favoritism amongst females. give most of his attention towards his favorite females, and I was struggling in his math class. He didn't care, though I would not want my children to go here, I would not want my cousins to go here, I would not want any family member to go here unless they do a change, I thought it be changed after all these years. Idk, there's supposed to be a place of hope, change, help, success, help people succeed. Not take their money, throw them in a major n leave them high and dry struggling, especially after they graduate don't help set them up with connections, job connections, you can set them up with job connections, give them the foot in the door, but the interview is up to them and it's on them after that. A letter recommendation would not hurt any of you. People in this world are supposed to help one another. I do that everyday without expecting anything back, I do it because I see. But I do it in silence, not for recognition, not for anything were supposed to help one another. When you think favoritism and all that stuff, only exist in elementary or middle school or high school, you think its no longer after that, but it does, it goes on into universities and technical schools, you glorify people that already are mentally gifted and the ones that struggle or need a little bit more guidance, you leave them dangling,. I did meet some amazing friends along the way, the greatest thing about Augusta tech. . I apologize my psychology class, I aced that class too, I loved it, I love that instructor, she is the best, she is number one next to my medical terminology, teacher, I had at the time, those 2 are amazing, they teach you hear me.

I am doing the Information Technology Program. I find that several of the instructors will assist to grasp the concepts and get adequate hands-on for the programming and IT(computer network) related subject than you would get at a four year institution like AU (Augusta University). Student organizations are present but not very active currently. Labs, classrooms and technology support are less than optimal or ideal as would be expected for a technical college. I hope that with the Georgia Cyber Center(GCC) being recently opened here things will change for the better in the school's future.

My daughter did all the requirements for nursing program which was up hill. She received a letter that she wasn’t accepted for nursing school. Very disappointing! No explanation, just to follow other options in which she wants nursing. Is not one problem with this institution but three. I am rushing to get other schools in the area.

I went to school here in 2010 for nursing and graduated even though it was a CF. Came back in 2024 for computer programming. I learned more from YT and GPT than from the classes. I dropped this school so fast. I will never recommend this school to anyone. They ONLY care about your money and nothing else. Do not waste your time here, seriously.

This school is horrible!!! They do not answer phone calls when you need help. When you email anyone you never get a response. I have been fighting to get my tuition paid for and they keep ignoring me. I am done with this crappy school. I will transfer to a better school. A school that actually cares about their students. I plan on emailing the Georgia Technical College System about how horrible they are treating their students. The instructors are amazing but the staff that run the operations of the school are horrible, rude, and could careless about the students.

Mr. White, the High School Coordinator was very helpful & patient in enrolling my son for dual enrollment. He walked us through the process step by step so we can meet the pending deadline which we found out at the last min. The staff at the Library, Ms. Jenkins was very friendly when we went to pick up his books. Where a would be stressful ordeal turned out to be a pleasant experience. Thank you

By FAR THE WORST school ever!! This "school" does NOT care about the students! I was unable to receive my student loan because they stated that I was NOT enrolled when IN FACT I was!! The director of the Financial Aid office told me that she wouldn't change the decision for my loan even though THEY made the mistake. I got hung up on, I constantly got transferred to people who didn't know what was going on and on top of all that, the staff was rude! This school has managed to set me back from my program a whole entire YEAR!! I wasn't able to register for my classes because these people didn't "know" that there are two different A&P classes for different programs! Therefore, I had to become a transient student to make up for those courses. Out of all the comments I have ever heard about this school, not ONE comment was positive! I should've listened!! I am so disgusted with the lack of professionalism, lack of organization, lack of communication and lack of overall care for the students. I will NEVER recommend this "school" to anyone!!!
