AICR is a wonderful organization dedicated to medical research and helping people enjoy longer and healthier lives through great food choices, being active and establishing a fitness routine. All of these simple steps can help prevent many and even most serious illnesses and cancers. Beyond that, they do some of the most important cancer research. They're a very dedicated group that serves the public as well as any non-profit I've seen.

The American Institute for Cancer Research is a phenomenal organization and I'm very proud to support them! They fund some of the most advanced research into what it takes for individuals to survive cancer and reduce their risk of developing it in the first place. In addition, they offer so many important educational programs, publications and resources to the community — all geared to helping people live their healthiest life.

Scam organization, don't donate! They spend more money and time mailing and harassing you! Note that many of the fake positive reviews are from employees and / or people who financially profit from this scam organization!

This is a deceptive charity which calls from numerous numbers that all show unavailable on caller id. They are rated 1 star out of 4 from charity navigator. Do not send them any money, block their calls if you can. They use paid telemarketers to solicit donations.

I do not donate to any charity which cold-calls me on the phone. I have blocked all eight of the numbers they use to call me yet each day I find on or another number on my caller id. Fortunately, it does not ring in my home so I am not bothered by ringing but it is quite annoying.

Find a local charity in your area and donate directly to them. Your money will be used to actually fund and service those in need.

The AICR provides great education surrounding cancer prevention. Using their online resources I was able to enhance the healthy living class I run tremendously by incorporating specific evidence-based cancer prevention guidelines. The AICR staff has open communication too, and is willing to go the extra mile to help!

I visited this organization and met with several staff members. I am a cancer researcher and I was impressed with the work they do, especially in compiling the latest information on cancer prevention and devising specific recommendations that people can apply themselves in their daily activities. Their CUPs are the most detailed reviews I have read in this area. They also provide seed monies to new research projects to help get them started. In this era of declining government monies, such support is critical to continuing to help jumpstart new projects and open new areas of research and prevention. The staff were all passionate about their jobs and their mission.
