Directions to NOT get LOST on google
Maps. Set it to Metrocom Plaza 11503 E Loop 1604 N, Universal City, TX 78148 which next door to Sportsplex. Good snack Options - yesterday there were fruit cups. Entrance fees are pricey even for 1 game on Sunday-for 2 people. Yesterday they only accepted credit card and today they accept cash
Parking is limited and an area to park on gravel. Options to buy game video from astrohoopz.

How do they justify charging $20+ per person in this economy!Highway ROBBERY!! Super sad to take advantage of the working class. Shame on you!

Were at a cheer competition here for the 2nd time. The event was way too crowded, the parking situation is horrendous, there wasn't anywhere near enough seating for the hundreds of people that were there. I dread going to this competition every year.

Alamo City All Stars Sportsplex is a fantastic facility. I've been to multiple gyms/athletic centers around San Antonio and Austin, and nothing compares. This gym offers great seating, amazing concession stand items, and actually has really clean restrooms. The janitorial staff walks the facility cleaning nonstop from open to close sweeping up popcorn, trash and keeping the floors spotless. Thoroughly enjoy using this facility for my son's basketballs games and tournaments.

I can appreciate that this facility wants to cater to large local events but I'm a little more than irritated that we just paid $25 bucks a head to go in and have to sit on a mud covered floor with our baby rather than the facility ensuring that they are able to cater to more than a small crowd.

We were at a volleyball tournament today. It was so crowded. No seating or standing area for those who weren’t playing. They had a whole open court with no games going and they kicked us out. Went to try to sit in the snack room area. They said it is for refs only. No seating and no standing room. Those of us with our little ones are supposed to go where? Ok fine we’ll go outside, but the level of rudeness was uncalled for. Definitely my least favorite venue.

Let’s start in order…
Parking sucks. Get here early, or plan to park in the gravel.
The woman at the front charges her friends and family whatever she wants, while the rest of us pay $20/person even for minor children. Not to mention she is ALWAYS on her phone and incredibly rude. She has ZERO customer service skills.
When you enter the facility there is minimal seating due to so many games being played simultaneously and one immediately after the next.
The bathrooms are decent. The women’s restroom is almost always out of toilet paper or paper towels. The later in the day it gets the worse the floor in the bathroom gets. Paper on the floor, wet floor, etc.
The concession staff is wonderful during practice, I am not able to review regarding during game time as I don’t have the patience for the long line.
The refs are refs. You either get great refs or terrible refs.
And the AC… it’s either freezing cold, or burning hot.

I gave 2 stars due to the fact that I personally have not had issues with anyone here other than the rude woman taking cash at the door.
Plenty of room for improvement. Will it happen? Probably not. Basketball alone is bringing millions in to this facility, until they’re not making money they won’t change.
