I had the pleasure of dining at a this Colombian restaurant recently and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The flavors were bold and authentic, showcasing the best of Colombian cuisine. Each dish was well prepared and presented with care.
The service, while attentive and friendly, was somewhat slow. It seemed to be due to understaffing, as there were only a few servers handling a large number of guests. Despite this, the staff did their best to ensure that everyone was taken care of.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking Colombian food. I would suggest that the restaurant consider hiring more staff to improve efficiency during peak hours.

The place is dark and horrible, food didn’t take good, my steak was so hard impossible to swallow, small portions for the extravagant price asked for a beer and the supposedly frozen jar was dirty. Very dissatisfied we don’t recommend it.

I could not believe how terrible the service was. We were sat straight away. The server came and took our drink order. We recieved our drinks rather quickly. This is when the service just fell apart. The server never returned to our table. We finished our drinks, we made eye contact with the server numerous times and she continued about her business. After 30 minutes of just waiting I had to flag down a different waitress to close out our check. Absolutely terrible. I will not be returning and I suggest who ever is in charge takes this review and makes the appropriate changes. I could not be more disappointed. I was really looking forward to having Colombian food

We came for dinner on a Saturday night and were asked if we had reservations. There were no seats available inside unless you had reservations, however there were seats available outside. We sat outside and we were given water and the menu. We ordered our drinks and the maduros mariquitas (green plantains chips) as appetizers. The drinks came and we had to follow up with the appraiser, which came right before our meals. The chips were soggy and limp, not crispy as it should be.

I had ordered the sancocho de costilla (beef rib stew/soup), which could have been stewed longer. I've had other sancocho where the meat falls off the bone. The potatoes, plantains and yuca could have been cooked until it was fork tender too. The mojarra frita (fried mojarra) was good.

The service was just ok and we found out later why the service was not excellent. We had to follow up with the appetizer and had to ask for more water a couple of times. When the bill came, there was an automatic 20% tip / service charge, which should have been disclosed before we ordered. No wonder the service was below average.

Food and attention was good. But, they didn't serve everybody at the same time which caused that the food that was served first got cold as those served were waiting for the whole table to be served to start eating. Then, they charged 20% tip when tip should be optional. I, as a customer, should decide how much to tip based on quality of service. 20% mandatory tip is dishonest and as someone else said, the only instance that you might get away with that is if your service is perfect, which wasn't the case.

This was the first time we eat at Bamboo.Bigger than expected! It was worth the drive, we have a Colombian restaurant less than a mile from our house. It doesn't compared to Bamboo!
I been to many Colombian restaurants, Bamboo made it to the 5 stars ?. The food was excellent! I am sure to come back! It's a little pricey but worth it! The service was excellent!

I went for lunch with my husband since I was craving Colombian food. The manu look so good and we were starving. Well, we were seating for over 30 minutes without a server approaching us to take our order. They care more about the shows than the service to the clients.
