Update 11/12/24

The entire 12 months that I have had Better Agency the service is TERRIBLE. Every person I’ve had to deal with will take WEEKS to return an email. ANY issue you have there is a magical fix they are working on that never arrives.

I sent an email about cancelling on 10/18. No response. I sent another 11/1 no response. Got a response on 11/8. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

I have NEVER been able to see how much premium my book has. You can’t project what you will make the next month unless you feel like pulling MULTIPLE reports. The text messages stopped notifying my cell phone WEEKS ago and no one ever did anything to fix it. “Oh that’s strange I’ll look into it.” Yeah…. Right….

I also started paying a Zapier fee through BA at setup and they were supposed to set my quote forms on my website up to download into BA. They charged me for MONTHS and I reached out at least 5 times and still NOTHING. A couple months ago they took away the Zapier fee but they charged me for months for nothing. I don’t even have a Zapier account.

Another issue I had with setup when they pulled my data from QQ they lost every single prospect I had on task that didn’t have a policy associated with them. I lost every single prospect I was working and didn’t realize until weeks after setup.

Getting BA was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in software. They are terrible at responding and cost more than any other management system I’ve used and missing basic functionality.

I didn’t think I could hate a company more than Vertafore.

RUN, don’t walk from BA.

I planned and saved to use Better Agency for over two years. My agency is really small and I knew I had to make a switch to help me grow even at the expense of something more costly.

I am not impressed and I’m crushed. I am exhausted of every software company operating the exact same way. I ran from Vertafore to a company that’s treating me the same only it cost two times as much.

The onboarding has been laughable. The person they set me up with missed the first meeting, I had to complain they never made another meeting, they then made a meeting apologized and continued over the next few weeks giving me very little clarity or training.

I asked for someone new and now haven’t heard from anyone in almost a week regardless of me asking for an update on my SMS number. Silence. Crickets.

I can’t text my customers and haven’t been able to for weeks. Better Agency recommended Lightspeed for voice, so I also switched to them and haven’t had an SMS line for almost a whole month so far.

Both companies act like they are at the mercy of the other and no one can ever tell me what’s going on. All I know is I’m paying for two software systems still, I have multiple questions about how to use the Better platform and the zapier integration, I can’t text my customers, and no one ever gets back to you.

Huge company or small company it doesn’t matter in this industry, everyone equally treats you like you’re worth nothing but a few dollars to them.

I have been on Better Agency for over a year now. It's been a struggle. Lots of glitches, Not as easy to use as we had hoped. Duplicate households create havoc. Tech support is Chat Only! People are very nice but they are just not there yet. If you have question feel free to reach out.

The absolute best insurance agency software available! Much more than a CRM, but slightly less than a full-on marketing agency that makes you look really good, and puts you in front of all the clients you want to be in front of. Incredible support system through their FB group, and customer service is top-notch. I honestly have never had a better experience with a tech-based company. Perfect 5/7. Would highly recommend.

Worst experience I've had with a technology company. Two years ago they were amazing. During the last 8 months, they are a nightmare. Every week they have new releases, that just create more bugs than the system had before the release. NOTHING WORKS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO! Good luck getting tech support from these guys, they'll expect you to be part of their IT team and then they'll tell you glitches have been fixed when they have not. Good luck cancelling too, they'll continue billing you as long as they want to and you'll never get someone to respond to your requests that doesn't have an attitude. Biggest mistake I ever made.

Go up
