Ben Shor is a modern-day QuickBooks Clark Kent. Behind that mild-mannered persona you first encounter is the mind and heart of a superhero. Ben swooped in to save us when our accountant of 30 years passed away in December and we were left with books unfinished and a corporate tax deadline looming on the horizon. He tackled our book’s challenges with bulldog tenacity, schooling us along the way so we could confidently take the lead. After 17 years in business and knowing enough to understand the basics, we left each session with a bit more swagger in our step at the skills we’d picked up. Honestly, going into this, I didn’t think I wanted to bring our books in house. We’re a small but well-established brand strategy group with clients in four time zones so I work more hours than I should as is. But he has made this so simple that we’re able to now use QB in ways that feel so freeing (said no one ever of QuickBooks before now). Ben’s responsiveness, his mastery of the software, his encyclopedic knowledge of bookkeeping and his own experience as a small business owner put him, like most superheroes, in rare air. Sedona is damn lucky to have him.
