Drove by this place and out of curiosity looked it up. Based on the reviews I plan to make a trip back! Wow! Man, I mean , I hadn’t even considered the scent of a quarry before, let alone that it varied based on size! So many questions! Must experience!

Great selection of rocks, all sizes and shapes available off-the-shelf. If you can’t find the rock you are looking for here, you could try the ROCKON Company in Athol Mass…..and yes, to answer your question, the founder of that Massachusetts town did have a lisp.

Great diversity in rocks, especially sedimentary. Love the overall rustic theme. Decor is lacking but that's to be expected, obviously. Dunn, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. Could use a coffee-shop perhaps. That and more attendants to assist with the larger stones and boulders, etc. The odor was about what you'd expect from a quarry of this size. Bathroom were outdated, notably the outhouse. Please please please add WiFi (many of the major competitors in the area offer this). Make sure to make a reservation early as slots full up QUICK.
