I purchased a glass solar filter from Seymour Solar for use on a spotting scope to observe the "Great American Solar Eclipse" in August 2017. The filter was delivered on time and in new condition. I was pleased with the quality and it worked great for observing the solar eclipse. The threaded filter attached directly to my 82mm spotting scope that provided full frame observation. In addition to clear observation, my retinas were still functional afterwards. Definitely recommended.

I purchased a solar filter from Seymour Solar, and their support through email helped me, as a an amateur, to understand the filter was reversible and it fit my camera perfectly! The pics aren't like the pros, but pretty good for a beginner... Seymour Solar is excellent and I would recommend their camera filters!

We had an excellent experience with the Seymour Solar filters from our eclipse viewing site in Hopkinsville, KY. We actually had 5 of their filters: one for a 5.25 in. refractor, one for an 85 mm refractor, one for a 70 mm binocular telescope (actually, this consisted of two separate filters), and two filters (one each) for our two cameras with 600 mm telephoto lenses. Each of these 6 filters fit perfectly, and their optical performance was superb. I might also add that we placed a couple of orders to get these, and each time the shipping response was very prompt. We also ordered a supply of eclipse glasses for our friends and these too were excellent. The service, price, and product quality were superb, period!

Great used solar filter at an excellent value and fast shipping! Was planning to get a solar filter for some time, but the eclipse convinced me. Wasn't in the path of totality, but 91% wasn't unimpressive! Will order from Seymour again.

The solar filters and solar glasses from Seymour Solar are very excellent quality and excellent workmanship. They are very helpful and have great packaging. Their people are very courteous and friendly. And they are very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of product they produce. This is my first contact (I hope you see what I did there) with this company. They are great and even responded to emails on Sundays!! The solar filter was perfect! It was well made and no scratches. The filter was loose and not snug over my 95 mm lens (as expected). I would have given the 5th star if the felt which accompanied the order and was supposed to be used to secure the filter more tightly, was thinner. I used paper tape inside the housing to gradually make the filter fit more snugly and yet make it easy to be removed just before totality (and easily replaced after totality). Make that felt thinner and you get the 5th star. Make no mistake though, I would ABSOLUTELY order from them again. Well done team!!

Their Solar filters were awesome! I ended up cutting small sheets and taped them over my phone. I actually had enough to do the same fore several people that showed up to my spot I was viewing the eclipse at. my cameras and phones had no problems looking right at the sun (though you shouldn't haha) I recommend their product! (sorry for the quality of the pics here, my camera ended up dying on me so I had to take all of my pictures with my phone)
