This really is a good school. It's really cheap and the acceptance rate is 100%, but I don't feel like that's reflected in it's performance. The environment is really nice, and it doesn't feel like a local community college. The programs and teachers are good, and the Holland library has everything you need. The HPC building has literally everything you could dream of for a gym, and it's free for all full time students. I'd really recommend coming here, as I don't think I've ever met anyone here with student dept. It's seriously a good school.

This school is garbage. They'd rather spend millions of dollars on fancy conference chairs and changing their name from Dixie to Utah than hiring professors capable of teaching the material required for a degree. I was a Computer Engineer major for two years before my income allowed me to move out of the house. I swiftly moved to Logan, UT where I now enjoy an education actually worth thousands of dollars. DSU seems to change their policies as often as a woman on her period changes her mood. Either that or they just "forget" to mention it. Half the people that go here have their butt hanging out of their "shorts", but all the out spoken ones think they're better than you. This could be a great school if they knew how to spend my tuition payments well. In one conference room they had $17,500 in office chairs alone. The room was built for ~20 people. Then the electronics lab get's $300 oscilloscopes that are sometimes broken. I could go on and on, but just know that from 2022-2024 their priorities were all out of wack.

Utah Tech. I'm a mature woman, but when I go on their campus, I feel young. The students are very polite and respectful. It puts your faith back in the rising generation. The campus is somewhat small, so if you're nervous about going to a university, this one is perfect! They have a nice little campus bookstore. I am an artist. I teach art there. The bookstore has a surprising selection of art supplies, and the prices are reasonable.
While you're there, grab a hat or t-shirt. Go Trailblazers!

This university hates it's own history, and by extension, the community it serves. The name change was shameful, and evidence that they have nothing useful to teach anyone.

Went here when it was Dixie State and they were super prejudice against Native Americans. I hope that changed when the name changed! Dixie state sounds prejudice even.
