The waits for some of my orders were frustratingly long, and there hasn't been much visibility on order or shipping status. However, every piece of WI gear I've received has become a favorite of mine. The quality, construction, and thoughtfulness of design is all excellent. I especially love my PSSxL, which has become a constant companion.

I never write reviews, but have to in this case. I ordered an HD poncho in April 2024. After the 2 months mark I was finally able to get in contact over the phone, and was assured my order would ship out within a few weeks. It's now October 2024 and still nothing. I ended up buying a poncho from Varusteleka. While perhaps made of less durable material, it's actually in stock and arrived at my door on time. I was excited to support a small American business, and was just left disappointed. If I ever get my order perhaps I'll revise the review.

They took so long to ship my order that battlefield has completely changed since I placed my order and this tarp is already obsolete, because it has no thermal shielding for drones.

I placed an order for a simple tarp in July 2023 over a year ago. The stated lead time was 3-4 months, and they still haven't shipped it. I've called the owner a few times after the 6 month mark, and he can often be hard to reach. He said that he got a defense contract shortly after I ordered. It is taking so long that I don't know if he is interested in selling to people who aren't in the military anymore. The tarps looked good, but this has been a terrible experience.

Edit: It's been a whole year, now, (August 2024), and still nothing has shipped. I'm really disappointed in this company. I bought a Thermashield from Force Protector Gear that is a little sturdier and has been tested and shown to block your body heat from thermals, even if you just drape it over yourself. It seems almost like a blessing that this guy never sent the tarp that I ordered. The battlefield has changed so much since I placed my order ages ago that FLIR from drones is a much bigger threat than it used to be, especially for surveillance or reconnaissance missions. I've been pleased with the Force Protector Gear Thermashield tarp so far. Look them up before you try waiting a year for this guy to send your order like I did. Force Protector Gear got my tarp to me just a couple weeks after my order.

I still have not received my order or heard anything from this company. I never canceled my order.

I placed an order December 28, 2023 (7 months ago) for an HD poncho and also placed an order January 31, 2024 (6 months ago) Osni Poncho Liner. I was told it would be 3-4 month wait and it has been double that and I still haven’t received anything. The BBB says that he is no longer in business. I have ask him via text message that he is still in business but I am not convinced and want my money back since my $500 plus order has not been received. If you look on Reddit there are many other people that are experiencing the same thing.

My girlfriend ordered me a poncho in November 2023 and as of August 1 2024 I still do not have it. Every time I contacted Perry he said it’s shipping soon and then he stopped responding to my admittedly angry texts. He said it shouldn’t be more than 2 months when she ordered and had excuse after excuse after that. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I would NOT buy from this company if I were you! I purchased $600 of product over a year ago, they did not ship any of it, just excuse after excuse. Refused to refund, now they have gone “insolvent”, bankrupt! (The only reason I am giving them a star is I cannot post without it).

Have a couple PSS's, zebra pot.. and have enjoyed watching and wilderness innovation channel on you tube! This was my day off during the quarantine enjoying outdoors with my daughter!! Great products and great company!! Thanks and stay safe to all out there.

I have been purchasing things from Wilderness innovation for about 8 years now. I love their poncho's and shelters, they are very well made and durable. Buying experience was painless and customer service is great. I highly recommend Wilderness innovation.
